I had originally requested my repair to be done somewhere else. They never got the part. I asked the Mike Murphy service department if they could make the repair. The answer was yes, not only did they order the part, but they set up an appointment. I dropped my vehicle off and it was done, by the time I got off work. I’m very pleased. I've always had excellent service and great communication with the service department when working on my vehicle. I've always gotten text messages keeping me updated on the status. However this time there with the service department when working on my vehicle. I've always gotten text messages keeping me updated on the status. However this time there was lack of communication and I had to call three times just to get answers on the status of my vehicle. No one seemed to know anything other than they couldn't tell what the status was. Finally on the third call (just before they were closing for the weekend) I as told that they were waiting on a part so it would be Monday before it was ready. About an hour later they called and said they had a "late" shipment of parts come in and they were able to get the car fixed. Seemed more like paperwork hadn't been updated and the vehicle was probably done the day before and somehow fell thru the cracks. I'm hoping this was just an off day as I've always had excellent service in the past. More

It took almost three weeks to get an appointment. When I dropped the car off at 7:30am Monday morning, that process itself was very easy, but nothing was said about how long I could expect the car to be the dropped the car off at 7:30am Monday morning, that process itself was very easy, but nothing was said about how long I could expect the car to be there - all day, all week etc. I called end of day to check on it, techs had gone for the day. The following day, I called again and whoever I spoke to said he didn’t know of the parts were in or what was going on with it and he would have my technician call me after lunch. I asked that same gentleman what was even wrong with it, as I hadn’t even heard that much. He recommended I wait for my service tech to call me. I revenues a call shortly and was told it was the clutch. Said it may be done late that day but possibly next day. I did receive a call at the end of the day advising it wouldn’t be ready until the next day. I couldn’t get a ride to the dealership until later that day, pickup process was easy. I have driven the car only in town thus far, and the transmission issue does appear to be fixed. However, I will be calling the service department Monday because the car is idling extremely rough. This car used to barely make any sound or movement if it was sitting still. I don’t know if something was damaged in the process of replacing the clutch or something was missed, but it never made this sound or felt the way it feels now while idling. I have a long trip to make in two weeks and I need my car to be free of any issues. More
