i love the look of the Ford Edge. i have been checking them out for months. when my husband gave me the go-ahead to find one, i looked at all of the local ford dealers online and mike murphy had the best them out for months. when my husband gave me the go-ahead to find one, i looked at all of the local ford dealers online and mike murphy had the best selection and prices. i found a couple i was interested in, asked for help in an email and got a call from nathan very quickly. i went out the following evening and he showed me the one i thought i was interested in, but once i was there it didnt quite have everything i wanted. on our way to check out my 2nd choice we passed and edge that he said had everything we were looking for(low miles and around our price). as soon as i looked at it i loved it. i took it for a drive and was sold. nathan took the time to introduce us to the features on our new edge. i was very comfortable asking questions etc. when it comes time for another vehicle for us , i will definately come back to mike murphy and nathan noyes. Overall a good experience. I think not filling up a new car with gas is pretty skimpy though. Also, the stuff used to make the tires shine flies off at highway speeds and splatters all over the sides of t car with gas is pretty skimpy though. My wife and I decided that we wanted to get a second vehicle that would get good gas mileage so we looked into several smaller cars. After looking at the reviews of these cars we decided to look at the Focus, Corolla and the Cobalt. So I went on the Internet and found that Mike Murphy Ford had several different cars that appealed to me. Nathan Noyes replied very quickly to our inquiries by email offering his assistance. We dropped in cold at Mike Murphy Ford and asked for salesman Nathan Noyes. He was very professional and asked how he could help us. We immediately looked at 2 of his Focus’s and drove both. He was unlike many car salesmen in that he was not pushy but yet was willing to inform us about both cars. He asked if we were interested in either and if we wanted to make an offer. Our experience with Nathan was much different than when we had traded with other dealers in that he had us their price quickly. After a few minutes I made a counter offer and felt he had our best interest in mind when he left to see if they would accept our offer. He came back with their acceptance and allowed us to think about it while we left. We were also pleased to be dealing with a Christian and his behavior exemplified that. I went to Mike Murphy Ford because of negative expierences at a different dealer looking for the car I wanted. He was available right away and got me in the car immediately. And even though he was juggling several other customers he handled everything smoothly and efficiently so felt like I was the only customer. He explained all the costs and made sure I understood all my options. They were extremely fair on the price and did not make it like a battlefield trying to negotiate. I would definately recommend this dealer and Nathan to anyone. More
My wife had a white 2005 Mariner that she gave to my daughter last year before my daughter moved away. It was a long year. Finally, we ended up finding one online at Mike Murphy Ford. A friend of mine had given me Nathan Noyes name as a contact. He and his wife were customers of Nathan's. My friend knows how picky I am about dealing with salesmen and told me I'd be pleasantly surprised. I contacted Nathan and my wife and I went and looked at the vehicle on a Friday. She drove the vehicle and I did not. We left that day without buying or even trying to make a deal. It was 2 weeks later that I was finally able with our busy schedules to get back to the dealership. The vehicle was still there. Nathan was off that day due to a death in his wife's family. However, he was there just for a conference call that he had to attend. When I showed up, he seen me and got a plate and let me drive the vehicle. He told me he may not be there when I returned but he could have someone else help me. I said no, as I stated, I'm very picky about who I deal with and I had already become very comfortable with Nathan. I told him if he wasn't there I would return on Monday and we would work out the deal. He was still there when I returned about 20 minutes later. He had already seen our vehicle and told me what he felt they would offer. I then told Nathan what I would pay that I felt was fair. About 5 minutes later the deal was sealed. I got the vehicle for my wife for exactly what I felt was a fair price. I've bought many vehciles over the years and to my recollection, it's never went that fast. This is how it should be when buying a vehicle. Get it for the price you feel is fair and dealing with someone that is fair and friendly, not pushy, and treats you with respect. Nathan and I talked as the paperwork was being done and we found that we had many things in common. I can honestly say that it was a great experience to buy from the dealership. A gentleman approached me after the deal was made and asked was everything satifactory. I told him yes, that it was the first time I had purchased from the dealership but wouldn't be my last. I didn't know who he was but later seen his picture on the wall. It was the owner of the dealership. You don't see that much anymore, when the owner takes the time to come out and ask if everything was to your satisfaction. Thank you Nathan for being so kind and longsuffering with us in making the decision. Your professionalism is very refreshing. We originally set out to buy a car that got better gas mileage than what we had,being that prices have rise so much. After doing some research, and looking through Consumer Reports, and looking at other vehicle makes, we decided to go with Ford for a number of reasons. We had several dealers contact us, but Nathan at Mike Murphy was the most sincere and genuine of them all. He helped us pick the right car for our needs, along with getting us the right price.
