I'm not to sure who this is as we don't have a name, I have a few questions for you.... -How many miles are on the car you purchased? -You mentioned "a month later the transmission died" When we tried to help you out did you chose not to go forward with fixing the issue?

You did not offer to fix the problem. You offered to replace a clutch which the car did not need. The clutch was not the source of the problem nor did it cause the problem with the transmission. I don't understand why you would suggest that charging me to replace a part that the car did not need would be a satisfactory solution. I am a woman but not an idiot. Clutch does not equal transmission. When I initially spoke with your dealership about the issue I told you I had the car checked out and the mechanic I saw told me that the transmission was bad, not the clutch. Your dealership said your mechanic would have to diagnose the car. Your mechanic said that the clutch was the source of my problems and not the transmission, this would cost me a discounted price of $1200 to replace. After being sold a car that was supposedly checked out by your mechanics prior to sale and having this issue which a different mechanic said was the transmission, I did not have the clutch replaced by you, no. When the car died a mechanic, different from your mechanic and different from the who who originally diagnosed the transmission issue, replaced the transmission. This mechanic informed me, at that time, that the clutch was still in good condition and did not need to be replaced, it was not the source of my issue and it did not cause the transmission problem. Two independent mechanics diagnosed the problem as transmission related. For you to suggest that by replacing the clutch my issues would be resolved or that replacing my clutch for a $700.00 discount was somehow fair, is ridiculous. Furthermore, when I contacted your dealership after the transmission died I was ignored. The mileage on the vehicle is moot. Whether there were 50 miles or 180k miles does not excuse you from attempting to charge me for a part the car did not need nor does it excuse your dealership from falsely representing a vehicle that was in poor working condition. It also does not excuse you from ignoring me when I brought the issue to your attention.
