They'll mislead you then charge to "make it right" After seeing a written history report and being assured of Longmont's thorough inspection of used vehicles, I bought a used F150 for $24,000. Two days After seeing a written history report and being assured of Longmont's thorough inspection of used vehicles, I bought a used F150 for $24,000. Two days later I found evidence that the written history they proudly showed me was false. I called, left messages, e-mailed, and finally got a response from the sales manager, Curt Abernatha. He said he understood my frustration and insisted they would make it right. He then offered to take my truck in as a trade-in for another. Of the two trucks which were in my price range, one was "unavailable" when I arrived and the other was a prior rental/lease with a lien history (2 things I wanted to avoid). I was then informed that, even though this truck was offered for sale at the exact same price, it would cost me an additional $1,200 to make this trade. The initial price was barely within my budget, and I couldn't afford to add another $1,200 to it. When I asked if they could at least help me with an extended warranty, they offered coverage for around $3,600 or $1,500 to cover drivetrain only. Again, unaffordable. I've since learned from my mechanic that the front brake rotors need to be resurfaced, both struts are leaking and on their last legs, and the rear differential is beginning to leak. "There is no way a mechanic could miss these things if they bothered to look". So, Longmont Ford provided a false history, did not properly inspect the vehicle, then tried to charge me extra to "make it right". I bought this truck because I trusted Longmont Ford, I would never make that mistake again. More

No pushy salesmen like the competitors! I deal with their service department as well for business and they are prompt and professional on their service as well! We'll be back! More
worst dealership and service in northern Colorado on 3 separate occasions I tried to get help from the service department at this dealership. first time for lugnut issues, second time for a replacemen on 3 separate occasions I tried to get help from the service department at this dealership. first time for lugnut issues, second time for a replacement (chipped) key and finally for information on replacing my strut assemblies. I am a single father with 2 teenaged daughters and I try to do my own repairs when I can to help save money. All 3 times I received little to NO help from their service department unless I was willing to bring the vehicle into them for the repairs. When I went down the street to Interstate Ford, not only did their service department help me out but they instructed me to other locations to get information as well as giving me information on how these issues occurred and how to avoid the same problem in the future. on the chipped Key replacement alone I was quoted $50.00 less to replace it at Interstate Ford versus Longmont Ford for the same service. Then I left a voice mail with the owner to let him know about the issues I had with his dealership and how I was dealt with. His assistant was the only one to call me back. She made light of my complaints saying how their mechanics have to get paid and can't work for free and that their service department is not obligated to help any customer who is not paying for a service. She at one point indicated that she looked up my account and noted that I had not done very much business with them at all. This furthered my feeling of thought that this dealership is only interested in getting my money. When she no longer liked what I was saying or how I was saying it, she just hung up on me. No "I do not believe we can help you anymore" or "I do not believe we can agree on this" or anything professional, she just hung up on me. Although I live in Longmont, Interstate Ford will always get my business now especially since they helped me out and went above were Longmont Ford completely failed me as a customer. If I cant get it from Interstate Ford then I will drive to Loveland Ford! Anything to keep my 2 Ford vehicles away from Longmont Ford. More
