Mike Maroone sales practices and tactics are deceitful and unethical! Went with my wife to check on a used car for approximately $350 per month! Definitely, did not want to exceed $400 per month MAX! Didn't want my name nor credit info disturbed since I'm working on raising my credit score. I DID NOT WANT TO BE ON THE LOAN! Three hours later, due to salesman aggressive tactics, we left with a 2014 vehicle for $577 per month and me as a co-owner/purchaser. Being new at purchasing vehicles we believed the salesmanship instructions to refinance in 4 to 6 months. After several attempts to seek a new loan our credit score takes a hit each time! We haven't missed a payment and NEVER BEEN LATE. But our denials were based on "too high of a balance on current loan"! No bank wanted to touch it! Maroone's salesman was aware of this, being a salesman for 5 years or more! Salesman was courteous and impressive but fed us xx to get the sale! Total loan was near $50,000 for a ten year old Honda Accord! Really? My credit score had gotten to 749 but is slowly decreasing. Now it's approximately 722 and dropping. Experience is a fiasco and our inexperience with deceitful, aggressive salespeople is an unfortunate, expensive, binding ordeal! A costly learning! The two stars are for the salesman's warmth, courteous attitude and SOME of his instructions! The untrue recommendations and time-lines warrant this review and I will/would not recommend Mike Maroone to any inquiring souls, especially if you're not wealthy! More
