McCaddon... Impressed! My wife and I recently purchased a used vehicle from McCaddon Cadillac Buick GMC and were utterly delighted by the entire experience. We worked with Zach Brick, the Internet Sales Director, and were completely impressed. Accordingly, we’ve created a top ten list of things my wife and I were impressed with during our buying experience with McCaddon Cadillac Buick GMC: 1. Prompt & responsive communication via e-mail, phone, and text. Zach even called me from home when it was late in the evening and responded to questions on his day off; talk about going above and beyond! 2. Honest, real, and sincere people. Zach Brick and I discussed openly our budget and needs, admitted the deal had to make sense for each of us, and gave us a great price that we could all live with. No bait & switch, no back and forth haggling. What a relief! 3. High class, clean and spotless facility. 4. Professional. All employees handled themselves with the utmost respect. 5. Accommodating. We asked them to hold the vehicle for us for a few days and to leave it closed up so any smells would surface by the time we arrived; they obliged with a deposit. There was a massive thunderstorm the day we drove up from Colorado Springs and Zach was willing to pull the vehicle into the (closed) service drive and even towel dried it off at my request. We were given space and time to ourselves to look it over and test drive it. 6. Remarkable product knowledge. We purchased a used Nissan Pathfinder from McCaddon who is a GM dealer. As such, I did not have high expectations for our salesman’s product knowledge of the vehicle since it was not a “house brand.” Boy was I ever wrong! Zach gave us the complete vehicle walk around, showed us all the little details (like explaining the seemingly random giant eyebolt anchor in the glovebox… front tow hook), explained the infotainment system & climate controls, and even set-up the Bluetooth for each of our phones! Already having some decent familiarity with the model myself, Zach really exceeded our expectations. 7. Condition. Our used 2015 Pathfinder looked and smelled like new, despite being a former rental fleet vehicle. 8. No pressure. From the initial sales response to the final closing paperwork there was zero pressure. 9. Smooth & efficient sales transaction paperwork & processing. There were no hidden costs or backend fees. All prices were communicated clearly up front with no changes or extras at closing. Justin Gasman, the Financial Services Director, thoroughly explained our warranty options and extras without any pressure to buy–quite impressive considering this is where dealerships make much of their extra profits. He even took the time to interact and dialogue with my young son. 10. Follow-up. Zach followed up with us within a couple weeks to see how the new car was doing for us. We also received a letter from the president of the company thanking us for our purchase and a thank you gift from Zach about a month later. These are small but intentional gestures that make a huge difference. We had truly an enjoyable, first-rate buying experience with McCaddon Cadillac Buick GMC. But, given the fact that purchasing a new/used car is likely the second largest purchase a person/family will ever make, why shouldn’t it be? Why have we come to expect and settle for being hassled and enduring a sleazy sales dilemma? That is why I think one of McCaddon’s greatest assets is actually their competition. With McCaddon you can actually walk away feeling pleased, satisfied, even wowed by where and who you are spending tens of thousands of your hard-earned dollars. Their shuttle service was prompt, and I may have asked them to go a little further than they usually do but they took care of me without hesitation. The shuttle driver was courteous, and just the happiest fellow you could imagine. He represented McCaddon well. My truck was spotless when I received it. (And I am picky... probably to a fault lol) Well done guys, and I will be back for service and parts, and will definitely shop there when it's time for another GM vehicle purchase. More
