First of all, I want to say that Randy, the sales manager, was great to work with, Martiniz as well. Dustin, not so much. And first impression of the dealership, not so good. I walked around for about four minutes as no one came out to greet me. I did approach Dustin at his desk asking where John was as he was expecting me however because John was on the phone, Dustin said he would assist me. My experience right off the bat talking to Dustin started out on a negative note. He took the envelope from the credit union that I had brought with me, opened it, looked at it and said it wasn't correct, that the dealership still needed a pay off. I told him ...no, it IS correct, I'm trading in my car and that is the balance of what is owed. He insisted it wasn't correct leaving me sit there thinking ….I just drove three hours, what if they can't get a hold of Pete at the credit union...now what...I'm not coming back. I asked to speak with the finance manager. Obviously Dustin was wrong and shouldn't speak of what he doesn't know about, as it was correct. And it was also Dustin who when showing me the features in the vehicle the ...battery low warning light came on, I told him I was concerned about it and he said…..oh that's just because we're sitting in it without the vehicle running. Are you kidding me?!!!!! First of all, don't insult me, I didn't fall off the turnip truck yesterday. And secondly, when I turned the vehicle on to leave the dealership, the battery was dead. DEAD! Dustin was going to let me drive off the lot on a three hour trek in a vehicle that had a warning light on. He should be fired. Thank God, it died right there and then instead of an hour down the road leaving me stranded. He either doesn't care about the customer, or he is really ignorant in regard to his craft. Thank you Martiniz for putting in a new battery. In addition I asked if the vehicle had been detailed as the listing stated cleaned and reconditioned. I was told it had been. However upon returning home and viewing the vehicle more closely, the seats are are filthy. Even though they are a dark ebony, you can see the stains on them. In addition, I ended up scraping gunk off the gear shift and panel. Reconditioning involves a lot more than spritzing a new car smell into a vehicle and hoping the customer doesn't notice the rest. Well customers DO notice and it's the small things that make the big impressions. It makes one wonder if this vehicle was gone over at all mechanically as it certainly wasn't aesthetically. I was also sent home with a dead key fob. The second key fobs battery died two days later. So two batteries for the key fobs and a good cleaning/detailing, both that should have been completed at the dealership will cost me an extra two hundred dollars. This is unacceptable. Why was this not checked prior to letting the vehicle leave the lot? Why?! I definitely would not recommend this dealership. Too many negatives...no attention to detail. Also, John Doyle was my first contact with the dealership. I thought he would have at least come up to introduce himself and say hello. Nope. I was in sales for many years and very, very successful....it's the little things that leave the huge and lasting impressions, along with repeat business and referrals. I gave the rating of your service dept as very poor. They should have gone through this vehicle with a fine tooth comb prior to letting it leave the lot. Overall experience….one star out of five only because again, positive experiences with both Randy and Martinis. More
They always do quality work though this time when I brought my vehicle in to the body shop, I was not receiving timely updates about what was going on with my vehicle. Over the 20 days they had my car, brought my vehicle in to the body shop, I was not receiving timely updates about what was going on with my vehicle. Over the 20 days they had my car, they gave me 4 different time estimates for when my car should have work completed that were all missed or inaccurate. I understand that situations occur and parts don't always arrive when expected when they're shipped but managing expectations is an important part of customer relations and it led to a lot of frustration on my end when I would be expecting my car to have work completed by a certain date only to have that date pass with no notification multiple times.
