The first oil change on my brand new truck almost destroyed the vehicle. The dealer failed to tighten the filter and I lost over 1.5 quarts of oil, most of which is on my garage floor. I finally no destroyed the vehicle. The dealer failed to tighten the filter and I lost over 1.5 quarts of oil, most of which is on my garage floor. I finally noticed it, as I was out of town. I had the truck towed to the dealer and the service department was very casual about it. They basically said, yeah, we tightened the filter and topped off the oil, disaster averted, off you go! Are you kidding me? This is a $60K truck that the dealer almost destroyed. I am still not convinced I will not have long term issues. Plus, who cleans my garage? I guess me? I do appreciate things happen but expected a much stronger apology and perhaps some $ to clean up this dealer caused mess!! More
