Worst service department ever!! My Toyota had a recall, so I called to set up an appointment to get it fixed. Told them what I needed done according to a letter from the Toyota corpo My Toyota had a recall, so I called to set up an appointment to get it fixed. Told them what I needed done according to a letter from the Toyota corporation, and they said they would order the part needed. I show up on appointment day, give them the letter from Toyota which said the recall should take up to 3 hours to complete. So I go kill 3 hours. Come back 3 hours later, they say there’s 4 recalls on my car and wouldn’t be ready til tomorrow. Nobody called and told me this! They offer a rental, I decline at first, change my mind and come back to request a rental. They say, we’ll let me see if ones available. There is one available, I drive to go get it, and see my car just sitting there, no one has even started working on it! I ask the rep if they have started fixing my car, he casually says “no, probably not, they’re real busy with bigger projects.” Then I go in to get the rental, and they tell me I have to replace gas in it that I use. After they had jerked me around at this point, I had enough and said “I’m not putting gas in anything!” I proceeded to tell them how mad I was at their lack of communication and how I would never come back!! Come to find out, they never ordered the part needed for the recall I came for to begin with. I went to get my car fixed on a Wednesday and didn’t get it back until Friday! So if you want to get your Toyota worked on go somewhere else!! More
Worst car “buying” experience of my life I found a car online that was a very rare vehicle, so I immediately called, talked numbers, came to an agreement, and gave the dealership a deposit to I found a car online that was a very rare vehicle, so I immediately called, talked numbers, came to an agreement, and gave the dealership a deposit to secure the vehicle. I’ve bought several cars this way, there has never been an issue. The dealership contacted my credit union and gave them all the appropriate information and I secured financing as well as put insurance on the car. The next morning, I went by the credit union to get the check and was on my way to meet the salesperson I was working with. I wasn’t even halfway there and I receive a call from the dealership saying that they couldn’t deliver me the car because they already sold it. After further talking to my salesperson, a previous customer of theirs had gotten angry that they had already taken a deposit on the car and they ended up selling it to them instead of me. I spoke with the sales manager who could not have cared less about the situation at all. They had no problem taking my money, letting me secure financing, and putting insurance on the vehicle, and then acting as if it was no big deal I had taken time off work to honor my part of the agreement, they weren’t even a little worried that they weren’t holding up their end. Go somewhere else and buy a car, there are too many good dealerships ran by good people to deal with unprofessionals like this. I wouldn’t buy a pack of gum from this dealership, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to either. They don’t care about getting new customers, just putting you on the back burner once they have your money. More
