Very very happy experience! My fiancé and I came in to buy him a new car when his car broke down over the thanksgiving holiday. Not really knowing what direction he was wanting to go or where to get started we came to Mike Johnson Toyota to start. I had gotten my last car here so I suggested we go here. We were expecting to come in, take a look at a car or two and check out a couple other dealers before making up our minds. Nathaniel met us before we even hit the door. Asked us what we were looking for. We explained that one of our cars broke down while we were traveling up for thanksgiving, we werent sure how much work it would be to get it fixed and we were just looking. He asked up a couple questions and then came up with a couple starting cars. He set my fiancé in the 2019 Toyota camery and it was love at first drive! After talking with Nathaniel for an hour or two at this point and trying the camery we decided to go with that. He asked me a couple of questions and we decided after we finished with my fiancé we’d look in to trading in my car and seeing what options there were for me. Nathaniel was deligent, dedicated, and very patient. He spent 6.5 hours with us while we muddled through everything. At the end of the day we got 2 brand new cars that were much needed for deals that were beyond what we were expecting! Everyone in mike Johnson Toyota are wonderful and we want to thank everyone, especially Nathaniel, for being so patient and wonderful to us and making our experience so fabulous! More

Issues with Service Department Normally I have had good experiences with Hickory Toyota service department. However I was not happy with the recent service performed on my wife’s Ra Normally I have had good experiences with Hickory Toyota service department. However I was not happy with the recent service performed on my wife’s Rav 4. SHE took her car in to have the “Free Service (oil change and tire rotation)” @ 22,149 miles, she also asked for NC Inspection and to check the brakes. The free service cost $65.47. She was told the free oil change was not free because the car had not reached 25,000 miles. On the brakes they told her they needed to resurface the rotors because of rust $240.00 front and rear. I had my wife refuse the service and had my local shop check the rotors and they were fine. According to my local shop this is a scam by Hickory Toyota to charge customers for services they don’t need. This also includes those unnecessary fuel injector cleanings they love to charge you for. If you let Hickory Toyota do your service only let them do what is in the owner’s manual. More

Fantastic service We bought our 2010 Toyota Prius there and have had it serviced every 5,000 miles there. The assistant manager, Jill Francis, assisted us both times la We bought our 2010 Toyota Prius there and have had it serviced every 5,000 miles there. The assistant manager, Jill Francis, assisted us both times last week with some needed repair work on the body. She explained things very thoroughly and there were no surprises come payment time. We have never had a problem with anyone there, but she was fantastic in every way. We enjoy the time we spend at the dealer whether we shuttle anywhere or just wait there at the dealership. It's a bright and comfortable place. Anyway, we'll be back for 120,000 service soon! Great dealership and great people there! More

My new 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid first 5K service Tabitha is great to work with and she is very knowledgeable. Lindsay is also great to work with but this time I met and worked with Bill. He got me in Tabitha is great to work with and she is very knowledgeable. Lindsay is also great to work with but this time I met and worked with Bill. He got me in and out very quickly but he did take the time to explain everything that was done to my car. I would have no problem working with any of these folks again. I would also like to say that Shawn May is the most honest and helpful service manager I have ever met. He has always gone above and beyond to make sure I am satisfied with the service I received. He will do everything in his power to make sure you leave the service department happy. He is very knowledgeable and when he makes a recommendation to do something or not to do something I would definitely take his advice. Shawn is someone you can trust to make sure you receive great service at a fair price. More
