I went on 3/27/24 to have my oil changed in a 2021 Camry. I ask check in person to ask the tech to check the coolant levels in car. The check in person said that the level would be checked. They took me to the waiting area and I once again reminded the check in person of the coolant level. Again I was ensured the coolant would be checked. So once the service was completed I went to the car and raised the hood and the coolant reservoir was almost empty. At this point I went back in to inform the service manager that the service was not completed but the bill was checked off as if the coolant had been checked. This is not the kind of service I would expect when I am paying a premium price for service work. If the car would have ran out of coolant I assume I would have been stuck with that bill due to poor technician service. I would expect Toyota to check behind the techs to ensure this is not happening to other customers. This is not the first issue I have had from this service department. I have to ensure after every service the car has been serviced now due to I don’t trust the service at this point. This is a shame that customers get this kind of service from a dealership. More
We were looking for a good pre-owned car and saw one we liked online. By the time I got to the dealership it had been sold but I saw a 2016 Subaru Outback that I was interested in. Katelyn Hamm was suc liked online. By the time I got to the dealership it had been sold but I saw a 2016 Subaru Outback that I was interested in. Katelyn Hamm was such a help to me, she's very knowledgeable, caring and made the process very easy. No pressure but answered all my questions. If you’re in the market for a new or pre owned vehicle, you must go see Katelyn Hamm. She is one of the most respectful and caring salesperson I have ever dealt with. I have been looking for a vehicle for you must go see Katelyn Hamm. She is one of the most respectful and caring salesperson I have ever dealt with. I have been looking for a vehicle for my mother for over a year now. During my search online I found a beautiful Kia Sorento hybrid at Hickory Toyota with a great price. Just like everyone else, I thought it was too good to be true, but I sent a message anyway. Katelyn Hamm called me and went over the vehicle with me. She even went out of her way to get me a video of the Kia and helped me more then any other car dealership ever has. She was so polite and helpful in every way. This dealership has the cheapest prices on new and preowned vehicles that I can find anywhere. A big plus is was they are driving 4 hours each way, just to deliver me the vehicle. Also to help put my mind at ease when buying the vehicle, they offer a lifetime powertrain warranty on the vehicle for free. This is my first time buying from this company, so take it from me when I say I finally found a salesperson that actually cares about the people she sells vehicles to. I have delt with a lot of rude salesmen in the past. Including salesmen that try to sale you a vehicle you don’t want and add ons you don’t need. Hickory Toyota is the first dealership that actually asked me if I wanted to add an extended warranty, instead of just doing it and finding out later after everything was completed. The finance manager even worked with me to lower the price of the warranty so I could keep my payments low. This dealership is amazing. Before you buy your next vehicle, please give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. I am old fashion and hard to sell a vehicle too. But Katelyn Hamm and the managers made the whole process so easy and pleasant. This is the only dealership that didn’t stress me out when buy a vehicle. They left all the decisions to me and didn’t try to pressure me into anything. More
Mike Johnson's Hickory Toyota is my go-to service department for my 1998 T-100 truck. This week the starter required replacement. Service Adviser TJ is wonderful to work with as he kept me informed throughout the process (replacement had to be ordered due to vehicle age) and made certain I was satisfied with the repair. Throughout the years with my T-100, I have used many of the surrounding Toyota dealerships for maintenance work. I have found Mike Johnson's Hickory Toyota the most efficient and trustworthy. I also appreciate the inhouse cafe. Will continue to drive the distance from Mooresville as I put another 1K on a very dependable truck. More
