This was from Veteran’s Day the 11th of November 2024 and being a Disabled Veteran visiting Mike Erdman Toyota in Cocoa. The Events: On the 8th of November 2024, I had taken in my 2022 Rav4 warranty being a Disabled Veteran visiting Mike Erdman Toyota in Cocoa. The Events: On the 8th of November 2024, I had taken in my 2022 Rav4 warranty service. The Toyota Service Advisor -- Macey Hall had checked all the ‘money makers’ for the dealership. She noted that the 2022 Rav4 has new aftermarket tires, a K&N Air Filter, and then held up my dirty cabin filter. She recommended that the dealership replacement of my Dirty Cabin Air Filter for a cost of $31, (which is on Amazon for $16). I told her no; I did not want it replaced; she stated, “How about the Cabin Air Filter for $20; I will put it back in myself; so you don't have to stop and get one.” I only agreed to the $20 expense. The bill includes service fees and many different charges. Further, Macey H. informed me, " You got a discount, and my cost is now $35." I did not know the expenses, so I planned to total the figures upon returning home. I was charged full price for the cabin air filter and the $15 install fee. I returned on the 11th of Nov: I confronted the Service Advisor Macey H. She informed me; “there was nothing that could be done about my bill and that she had never heard of the Cabin Air Filter costing $20.” But instead, they would offer a ‘line of credit’ for some other high-priced item in the future. It was not the total amount; it was the underlying dishonesty and lack of integrity when it comes down to taking advantage of people. I will never do business with Mike Erdman again: Towards a Disabled Veteran on Veteran’s Day at that!!! More
In for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. I had just moved to Florida so this was my first time to Erdman Toyota. My service representative Chris Miller was very good. My Tacoma was still ful I had just moved to Florida so this was my first time to Erdman Toyota. My service representative Chris Miller was very good. My Tacoma was still fully loaded with all my tools and personal belongings and I was concerned that when they put it on the lift, the center of gravity would be VERY wrong and could cause the truck to tip off the lift. Chris listened carefully to my concern, and brought in his lead tech to evaluate the safety of putting the truck up on the lift. They determined that I was correct and it would, in fact, be unsafe. Instead of cancelling my appointment and rescheduling it for after I had the chance to unload. (I had driven over an hour from Ft Pierce to get there.) They came up with a plan to do the work on an alignment lift so it would be supported safely. This is an example of a "Lets get it done" attitude that can be lacking in today's world. Hat off, and two thumbs up for a job well done. Thanks Guys! More

I’ve least a 2023 4 runner in July of 2023, I’m a disabled senior citizen and have had nothing but problems with my vehicle since day one. My vehicle steering wheel shakes from left to right from 15 disabled senior citizen and have had nothing but problems with my vehicle since day one. My vehicle steering wheel shakes from left to right from 15 minute to a 1/2 hour when the vehicle is cold, the dealer states that it is a characteristic of this vehicle with these tires that came with the vehicle. Till today I’ve been through 5 to 6 visits for for the same issue and the problem is still not resolved. More
I don’t know what happened, but this dealership has really went down over the past few years. I’ve bought 3 from them. Now having a run problem with my Tundra that should have been resolved by warranty really went down over the past few years. I’ve bought 3 from them. However Pat the sales mgr and Frank the body shop manager are completely useless and they don’t care about their loyal customers anymore. I would advise people to read their ratings carefully before purchasing a new vehicle from them!!!! More
Had an appointment scheduled for an A/C diagnosis. I planned for it all week, went to bed early on Friday, got up early Saturday. When I arrived I was told they don't do diagnosis on Saturdays. The least they could have done was call or email ahead of time. Clearly no one is actually reviewing/preparing for upcoming appointments. I will take my business elsewhere and will remember this when I make my next vehicle purchase in the near future. More
I wanted to thank Mr. Jay Piter for all his actions from turning a bad experience into a great customer service experience! We recently had our Rav4 repainted by the Erdma Jay Piter for all his actions from turning a bad experience into a great customer service experience! We recently had our Rav4 repainted by the Erdman Toyota dealership due to a factory issue on the paint. We did buy this Rav4 there used years ago. Even though it was passed the mileage and # of years past warranty, they honored taking care of a known White paint delamination issue. Unfortunately when we got the car back from being painted there was still significant paint dust on the inside of the car and some paint over spray on some exterior areas including the tires and wheel. Also some orange peel and some of the paint that just wasn't as good as the original factory finish. I called Frank who had handled the first paint job and he set us up to take the car back for a full clean up. After dropping our car off for a day as discussed, the car was returned in poor condition compared to cleanliness when we dropped it off. I had just had it detailed for her birthday. At this point I got a hold of Mr Piter at the main dealership. He quickly responded and after seeing our pictures he apologized for the condition that the car was returned to us and immediately set out to rectify the situation. He got us set up to get our car back to the paint shop with no inconvenience to us and had it picked up by his staff and dropped off by them at I-95 location near our house. When the car finally was returned to us, it was in as new condition. Definitely better than when we dropped it off! We were extremely satisfied with the final response and look forward to purchasing another Toyota from Erdman Toyota. Thank you Jay. More
