My initial experience at Mike Castrucci Lincoln of Alexandria seemed positive when I went to purchase a car, armed with a pre-approval that was valid until December 31. My purchase on December 22 appeared to go off without a hitch, but the situation deteriorated significantly from there. A month after my purchase, I was unexpectedly informed via text message that my pre-approval had supposedly expired—contrary to the actual expiration date. This was not only an incorrect assertion but also communicated to me belatedly. Further complicating matters. The real shock came on February 6, when I learned from my bank that a new loan had been processed without my prior knowledge or consent. This new loan not only had a different finance amount and APR but also contained false information. To make matters worse, I discovered I was past due on payments for this unanticipated loan, exacerbating an already stressful situation. This ordeal has been both frustrating and disappointing, stemming from a lack of clear and timely communication from the dealership and, more concerningly, the unauthorized submission of a new loan application with inaccurate details. The handling of financial matters and customer interactions in this manner is unacceptable and has significantly tarnished my perception of Mike Castrucci Lincoln of Alexandria. I urge the dealership to thoroughly review and improve their finance and communication protocols to prevent future customers from facing similar distressing experiences. More

Drove down to Mike Castrucci Ford of Alexandria to test drive a VW eGolf in our tired 2012 Nissan Leaf, knowing we’d need to charge up while on site. Yeah? NO. Both “free” EV chargers attached to the ma drive a VW eGolf in our tired 2012 Nissan Leaf, knowing we’d need to charge up while on site. Yeah? NO. Both “free” EV chargers attached to the main building were deliberately blocked off by massive EVs, one of which no one seemed know who owned it. The other was a dealer’s car. We trusted our sales rep to get our’s plugged in and charging while we test driving. Didn’t happen. A trickle charge did literally noting. Seriously frustrating and xxxx near hostile when it came to finally getting someone to move the dealer’s vehicle. Now I’m reading the fine print and not trusting ANY rural Ford dealership to actually have an “available” charging station. Sad that FORD dealerships don’t want to support actual customers or combatting climate change. More
