We have been undecided for a while between the Dodge Challeger, and the Camaro.Andersons made up our mind because we didnt have to bicker back and forth about the price. I also decided I liked the style Challeger, and the Camaro.Andersons made up our mind because we didnt have to bicker back and forth about the price. I also decided I liked the style of the Camaro way over the Dodge Challenger. The special price in the Post Tribune on this particular car made us come in and take a look. More

Today I delivered my payment and title to my old car and didn't know where to go. I went to the cashier's office and was greeted and the person handled my transaction rather than push me off to someone else. Altogether my experience has been very favorable. More
On 2/16/2011 my husband took my newly purchased used 2007 Mustang GT to Mike Anderson Chevy ( we purchased it there ) and dropped it off for rear bumper repairs due to prior damage Mike Anderson Chevy's serv Mustang GT to Mike Anderson Chevy ( we purchased it there ) and dropped it off for rear bumper repairs due to prior damage Mike Anderson Chevy's service dept. had caused while changing my tail lights. On 2/17/2011 we were told we could pick the car up. When my husband arrived, the car was still inside the service shop, backed into a small, tight spot between two other vehicles (the cars were so close that my car doors couldnt be opened all the way without threatened damage to the vehicles beside it.) He was shown the vehicle in poor lighting conditions and it was never pulled outside for a thorough inspection. I should also note that both times my vehicle was damaged at this dealership my car was kept until dusk or evening making any damage very difficult to see because the car is midnight black. I would also like to state for the record that I actually did not discover the initial damage to my vehicle which prompted this second visit until the day after I received the vehicle because the car is so hard to see at night. Upon arriving home with the vehicle on 2/17/2011 we discovered that while the car was in the shop someone backed it into another vehicle or it was hit by another vehicle because there were licence plate indentions as well as a crack and a very small spot of white paint transfer on the bumper as well as some small spots where the paint actually cracked and fell off around the inner licence plate area. We also noticed that there was additonal milage on the vehicle and suspect that it may have been driven outside of the dealership. I took the car back to the dealership immediately (less than one hour after picking it up) and was told by the General Manager of the dealership Alexander Kuchar (in the presence of a car salesman named Roberto) that they would fix the damage free of charge and he tried to snatch my keys out of my hand stating that he would put me in a rental car immediately and take care of the entire situation. When I explained to him that this was the SECOND time my vehicle had sustained damage while at their service dept. and that I no longer felt comfortable having my vehicle serviced there and wished to take it to a local Ford dealership they do business with he suddenly became angry and stormed off telling me that I would not take my car to Ford to have it fixed because that would cost too much and they didn't want to have to pay for it. As he walked off he began to deny it happened there even though five minutes earlier he pretty much admitted he already knew it did and eagerly wanted to fix it free of charge. Less then an hour after I left the dealership the bodyshop manager called us and asked us to bring it back and stated that he was the only person who drove the vehicle but didn't know how the damage had occured, we declined to return. On 2/23/2011 I sent Mike Anderson himself a certified letter to try and resolve the matter, I later learned that he never received the letter and that the general manager took it and disposed of it. On 2/25/2010 I received a letter from the General Manager Mr. Kuchar apologizing for the damage but also denying it and offering to fix it at a reduced rate. On 2/26/2011 my husband called the dealership and spoke to Mr. Anderson himself who said he would look into the issue and call us back no later then 2/29/2011. We've never heard back from Mr. Anderson which has led me to file this complaint. Through my own research I have discovered that this is NOT an isolated incident and that this has happened to other customer's at this dealership. I only want to be made whole and have my car restored to the condition it was in when it entered the service dept. To show that I am not interested in simply getting money (as I was accused of by Mr. Kuchar) I stated that I wanted Art Hill Ford of Merrillville Indiana (which is where the repairs will take place) to be paid directly so no money ever touch's my hands. This was the second time I have bought from this dealership. The first time, I purchased a used car, and I was given a warranty which I did not expect. They worked with me on the financing, I had to dealership. The first time, I purchased a used car, and I was given a warranty which I did not expect. They worked with me on the financing, I had to roll over a loan from a previous purchase. I was very happy with my car. My most recent visit, I traded in the used car I had bought from Mike Anderson Chevrolet and purchased a 2011 HHR. I explained to Lawrence what I wanted to do as far as trading in my car, rolling the loan over, and getting out from under the negative equity I had in my used car. He was able to help me with every aspect of that, and I am pleased with the outcome. The customer service there is great, and I will most likely return there when I am ready to purchase another vehicle. Thanks for everything! More

We did a lot of shopping locally and on line. We found what appeared to be a great deal on-line. Drove about 90 miles to check it out. It was a great deal and Lois, our sales person was very helpful.
