I was extremely disappointed by their service department. One of my cars came back with a large scratch on it. My wife has taken her car her car here for years. They half @ss fixed it. When the clutch went out it stated on the service request to replace the flywheel. Took it back didn’t charge us labor, however the mechanic used impacts on the ball joints (jacked them up) I had to replace them, left the new long side vw axle hanging off the tire ruined it, it started to leak grease. I had to replace that, then all the plastic was ripped off on the passenger wheel well ( i had to replace that). INCOMPETENCE AT ITS FINEST!! Oh, if they tell you they can grind aluminum wheels to make them true again they lie don’t fall for it that was on the 14 jetta. When i emailed them they acted like they cared because, quite frankly, how you gonna prove it in court! Answer, you can’t they know it. Sh++ty Service advisers and jack xxx mechanics update: DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT RIPPED OFF STAN RALPHS IS A xxxxxxx AND A LIAR KYLE IS A WORTLESS MECHANIC THEY HAVE DESTROYED MY VEHICLE. PICS OF THE BOLTS LEFT OUT OF THE SUBFRAME THAT THEY REPLACED THEN TRIED TO SAY THATS HOW ALIGNMENTS ARE DONE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. More

Call the dealer, "We are so sorry, bring it in in the morning and we will take care of you." (Family Reunion trip in TN cancelled but Ben at MAG says "Go ahead and drive to TN, you'll be fine.") Visit 3. 2 hours waiting room, Bem says car is fixed, that he personally "took it for a ride to make sure. And don't forget to give us 5 stars." Pull in my driveway, Check Engine light. Call Ben (again) Ben tells me, and not for the first time, "bring it in and we will take care of you. We really want to take care of you and we're happy to give you a rental car." Ben.....I don't want a rental car. I want your integrity; your World Class, Diamond Service. I have yet to see either. After almost 8 hours in the waiting room spread out over four days and almost $800 later, I just want my car fixed. I'm no better than the day I walked in this place. And just for the record, all Audis are not treated equal. I heard them walk up to a man and tell them that his car was fixed and that they even washed it for him. I can't even seem to get mine fixed, but this guy got his fix and wash. Will be making my 4th trip to the place today to "get my car fixed". I will surely update. Zero stars thus far. Zero. More

They installed the seater heater before they informed me what was going on and tried charging me $200 for the dome light. I called the dealer i bought the car from in Virginia and the service writer there said “they are trying to stick you for more money. Bring it back here, we cleared and certified the car.” DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE. it will always be a fight and your warranty will mean nothing here. Went in thinking I’ll pay $120 ($50 co-pay : $70 for rental) for a 2 day repair now a week later my bill is up to $800 (roughly) More
MAG's VW repair service might sound expensive, but it is not. Trust is a fragile thing, when it pairs up with incompetence, it is gone. My 2008 VW Touareg had an issue that resulted in my car being recoded. It was done on a Friday afternoon while I was waiting comfortably sitting in a waiting room until my car was done. This is the only vehicle I use, so having a peace of mind means everything to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you! More

Poor customer service and workmanship It's both disappointing and frustrating that I'm having to take the time to write this review, however after failed promises and weeks of waiting it f It's both disappointing and frustrating that I'm having to take the time to write this review, however after failed promises and weeks of waiting it feels like an appropriate action. From my experience, MAG operates behind the glitz and glamour facade of a main dealership with zero quality control on its workmanship and comprehension of customer service. I used MAG VW to address an engine fault on my CPO VW Tiguan. The fault was attributed to a number of faulty fuel injectors that were replaced under the warranty. During this process, a decarbonization of the engine was suggested whilst the intake manifold was removed for injector replacement. This was a step not covered under warranty, however, capitalized on some of the duplicate labor associated with removal of the intake manifold etc, resulting in a quoted cost of $300 vs. the regular $900. Following delayed communications on the status of the work, vehicles completion date/time my wife finally collected the vehicle. Upon inspection of the engine compartment later that day, I was greeted by a combination of carbon deposits and solvent residue sprayed over every surface of the engine bay, under hood and scuttle panel. It's worth noting at this stage that each vehicle I own, whether show car or daily driver are hand detailed to a high standard, this includes the engine bay. The cleanliness of my engine bay only served to compound the apparent lack of care taken on servicing my vehicle, technicians attention to detail, QC standards and overall pride of workmanship. This is a far cry from the hallmark image of master VW technicians that MAG touts in its servicing imaging and top dollar labor rates. The carbon splatter could have been completely avoided by placing a disposable plastic cover over the engine bay. Upon detailed discussion with Bobby the service advisor we'd concluded that a $50 credit on the prior invoice to accommodate both my time and numerous clearing solutions required to address the mess. Bobby who'd agreed in writing (text) has failed to action this resolve weeks after the fact (service completed 20th July. Follow up calls have referenced his manager's vacation as a rationale/ excuse for further delay. I question an organization that requires a chain of command to authorize a limited $50 refund with no disregard to promptly address the matter and customer satisfaction. I urge other consumers a word of caution with trusting there servicing needs with the low standards upheld across Stan Ralphs team. More

I have had numerous VW's over the course of 20 years and I am a forever VW fan. I was introduced to Todd Hurley who graciously showed me a new Tiguan and took me on a test drive. He had thorough knowledge of all the different features the 2019 Tiguan offers and explained the differences between each of the different model options. I told him what I was looking for and he found exactly what I wanted. There was absolutely no pressure from him for me to trade mine in for a new one. He was super friendly and provided top notch customer service. I ended up leasing a new 2019 Tiguan SEL 4Motion, which I am enjoying immensely. Huge heartfelt thanks to Todd for his awesome personality and outstanding customer service. I can honestly say of all the VW dealerships I have dealt with over the years, MAG VW is hands down the best with customer service in all of the areas (service, finance, sales, etc.) I would definitely recommend MAG VW for your vehicle needs. Only upside to this is I am glad I didn't head back over to sales department and trade my Passat in for the Atlas - will probably just get a 4 Runner now because I they have ruined my love for VW.
