Very friendly and try everything they could to get my credit report, which they did so I wouldn't have to come back, due to the fact I drove all the way from Columbus Ohio. I was able to drive the car ba credit report, which they did so I wouldn't have to come back, due to the fact I drove all the way from Columbus Ohio. I was able to drive the car back to Columbus that same night. Good work David Frank and John Mangum. I would be recommending customers to Midwest Automotive Connection, keep up the good service you give. More
Car is fine so far. Was quoted a specific price to drive 3 hours, asked if it included out the door, taxes, title and all and they said yes. Got there and they said it d Was quoted a specific price to drive 3 hours, asked if it included out the door, taxes, title and all and they said yes. Got there and they said it did not include taxes because I was out of state. Told them I was told it did, and they should come off the price. Some manager said “it is what it is”. So that’s the kind of people you’re dealing with here, just be aware. Had I not drove 3 hours to buy a car for my son, I would have told him where to stick it just because of his nonchalant demeanor. This is why people are weary of car lots and salesmen. More
It was a struggle coming to terms on my recent HHR SS Purchase. I waited a while for the price to drop to where I felt it was fair for the Market Value. Alex in Sales, was awesome, really worked with me Purchase. I waited a while for the price to drop to where I felt it was fair for the Market Value. Alex in Sales, was awesome, really worked with me on getting things lined up for the deal, but failed on one point not explaining that given any discount negated the 4,000 mile warranty on the car when going through the final purchase process online remotely. That did cost me plenty on my end after getting this car. It was checked out down there by an Independent garage on my dollar of course. MAC did address some of the issues found, but others were not resolved as asked for including a properly functioning Remote Start on the FOB. A new one was acquired and programmed, but it only worked the locks. Turns out there was a hidden Check Engine issue that didn't pop up until I'd gotten the car and it was driven about 50 miles. Why, I don't know. But the car had a bad Mass Air Flow Sensor, and Carbon Cannister and Fuel Vent Lines that were totally clogged so it was almost impossible to pump gasoline into the tank. It took me nearly $1,900 dollars in extra expense to make this car the way I wanted it delivered in the first place. Plus the features for Remote Start and Foglamps needed reprogrammed into the cars Body Control Computer. Transportation to my place was arranged, but failed to consider I lived in a residential neighborhood. The shipper had to deliver the car to a Walmart Parking lot for me to take delivery. That wasn't a good thing either. I do have a great looking running without issue HHR SS NOW, it wasn't worth what MAC sold it to me for in the actual condition it was in. Perhaps they didn't truly know of it's full issues, I don't know for sure. So it's hard to make a real evaluation on this dealership because of that. To Alex, I think he really tried to get me squared away with a ready to go great car. It fell short sadly. But I do enjoy the car now that it is corrected to be what it should have been sold for in the first place. Used Cars, SOLD AS IS, but that mistake on the warranty, not informing me it got taken off for the internet discount Alex cost me a lot. More
