However, my disappointment is in how we were treated with regard to our trade-in. First, we drove our trade-in vehicle over an hour to the shop (after calling ahead and discussing possible trade in value and all details about the truck beforehand). We assumed we would get at least $3k on trade-in for the truck. We knew we could get more selling privately, but it was not worth the hassle of that to us. After looking and selecting the vehicle we wanted to purchase (and going through the financial paperwork) they finally had the "service manager" inspect the trade-in. He came back and told the "financial manager" that the truck would not go over 20 mph... after we were driving 70+ mph to get to the dealership. My husband asked for the service manager to show him what he was meaning, because obviously this was not what was happening on the way down. They took a test drive together and (GASP!) suddenly the truck could in fact go the intended speed. It is an older diesel, and there is a gap in the uptake manifold which is causing it to pick up a little slower than it would otherwise. This was all explained BEFORE we drove an hour and went through the process of looking at the vehicles on the lot. The "financial manager" offered us $1200 for the trade in, which was frankly insulting. However, because no one had even looked at the vehicle for the first 4.5 HOURS we were also feeling some pressure to get back home. The financial manager did eventually negotiate some, and we took the deal just to be done with it and because we had not planned to leave with the trade-in. During negotiation, the financial manger told us MANY times that he would not be putting the truck on his lot, that he would only be able to sell it for salvage, etc. and gave this as the reason for the very lowball offer on the trade-in. We said, come on man, you will have this on the lot next week for $5-6K. No, he said, we will not put it on our lot... Well look what we have on the lot today... our old truck with a $3000 (272%) markup! https://www.midwestautostore.com/inventory/used-2003-ford-f-250sd-4wd-4d-crew-cab-1ftnw21p93ec43793/ And nothing at all done to the vehicle. I understand they need to make a profit on resale, and I am totally fine with that. I just prefer not to be lied to and low balled.... and I really prefer not to be at a used car dealership for a total 6 hours when all is said and done. More
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID! !! I went to this dealership for a specific vehicle after calling twice to confirm availability - when I showed up to test drive, the car was not roa !! I went to this dealership for a specific vehicle after calling twice to confirm availability - when I showed up to test drive, the car was not road worthy! Brakes so bad it wasn't even drive-able, after they'd told me twice to come on in... When I got there, they tried to convince me to pay for it up-front and sign a contract for the necessary repairs - couldn't even answer the simple question of whether parts were on-order, or on-site... What a bunch of jokers!!! Who lists a car for sale that can't even be test-driven, when they have the garage right there?!? VERY DISAPPOINTED, would advise that anyone looking for a decent, reliable daily driver avoid this place like the plague. They'll give you the run-around and lie straight to your face - not entirely sure how this place is still in business, highly doubt they're turning any profit with the way they're running things... NOT TO BE TRUSTED, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!! More

After calling about a Honda Accord this dealership had advertised we decided to drive from redbay Alabama a 7 hour drive. The salesman seemed like he could care less about a sale! The pictures of the car advertised we decided to drive from redbay Alabama a 7 hour drive. The salesman seemed like he could care less about a sale! The pictures of the car were taken in such a way as to not show rips in the leather seats and a falling down headliner. Car had been hit in the rear ended but had been fixed but had clear water damage in the trunk. Front right bumper was loose. Had a knock on startup a surge when you drove it and brakes on the sounders! Thay don’t even safety inspect their cars. A 2009 Honda with over 100000 miles on it for the low price of 10 grand. Offered 8500 the so called salesman said after all that was wrong with it Thay don’t negotiate the price! Thanks for wasting a 500 mile trip for nothing! So we went to another dealer and bought a deautiful 2013 Honda Accord for 15k somewhere else! Buyers beware this place is the worst! Signed the Marshall family from red bay Alabama More
