I have got to say this was one of the best car shopping experiences I have ever had.We purchased a 2012 Nissan Titan from Bruce Weiss. He was extremely helpful and informative . I have had several dealings with Midway, First being a 2010 Frontier which I later returned to trade for a larger Titan. Bruce has always remained very honest and friendly when it comes to my wishes and desires in looking for a new purchase. I was dismayed to learn that Bruce is not working at the moment for Midway Nissan, I have been approached by several sales personal in search of my business however, I will be waiting for the return of Bruce Weiss, knowing that he will work for my behalf in getting me the best auto for the price. The purchase of a new auto is (to me) one of the worst time consuming efforts that a person has to make in life. They were truthful and honest and showed they were true professional. Patrick knew the perfect vehicle for me after telling him what type of car I was intersted in buying. His first selected was perfect for me and it was what I would have selected. My test drive with James provided me with the knowledge of the vehicle and all the things I needed to know before asking any questions.As a woman buying and by myself, my experience was an excellent one and I would recommend the excellent service I received to anyone buying a new or used car. From the time we arrived for our appointment, Mr. Weiss made my daughter and I feel we were the most important customers of the day. He insisted we would be treated fairly and swiftly in finding the vehicle we wanted, ( color, year, accessories, etc.) He reviewed with us the pros and cons of outright purchases versus leasing. We wanted to know what our options were, so we could identify which direction to go. We were at Bruce's discretion of auto pricing, as we had no idea how to lease or how to deal back and forth for a new outright purchase. When we had some facts to consider, the lease arrangement seemed to be the best for our situation. Taking into all of the considerations and costs involved, we, along with Bruce's expertise led us to the lease arrangement as a great way to go. We had formulated a walk in plan, with our objectives before we walked into the dealership, and as the process unfolded, all of the objectives seemed to fall in place. Bruce used some terms, like negative ownership of outright purchasing versus the positives of leasing. And it really was an easy decision after everything was laid out for us. He gave us several price options for the leasing and seemed to know what our objectives were. The payment plan was perfect, and the lease term was also. We added the paint and condition option as a backup in case of damage over and above normal dings and scrapes. The whole idea was to cover all of our costs when the lease was over. The finance manager was a great help. also. We had follow up from your management staff after the fact and we do appreciate the concern. We've had occasion to go into the dealership a couple of times since and both times, Bruce has continued to act as if we were his most important customers of the day. Last of all, we love the car! I rarely write reviews but I absolutely have to write this one. We live in Gilbert and after shopping around in Tempe and San Tan we decided to drive to Midway Nissan which is an hour away from us. This is by far the best shopping experience we have ever had. Not just car shopping but shopping in general. Patrick showed us exactly the cars we wanted to see. We could test drive any car we wanted and we could ask any question imaginable. Patrick was knowledgeable and very friendly. When we sat down to talk numbers, we were introduced to Bruce. He had very non pressure approach and years of experience. You can tell that he really cared about giving great service and making sure that you would get the best deal you can. He will not try to make a deal with you that financing will not approve. He will absolutely do the best for you. Financing was fast and easy. John in financing department was fantastic! Honest car sales people do exist! I will highly recommend Midway Nissan dealership to everyone I know. Amazing experience and we will be back and that's the only place we would ever buy a car from. Went to this dealership expecting to pay the ADVERTISED price... Test drove the car, filled out all of the paperwork, sat around for 1.5 hours, only to have them come back and tell me that they had an almo price... Test drove the car, filled out all of the paperwork, sat around for 1.5 hours, only to have them come back and tell me that they had an almost $2k reconditioning fee. I informed them that I was not paying above the advertised price. They then graciously offered to split that with me (sarcasm), so it would only be $1k more than the advertised price. A sales manager then came out and insisted that this wasn't a hidden fee because of some fine print on the website. All in a very condescending manner and would not budge. Said they were "doing me a favor" "probably losing money" "this was a hot car" (when I know it's been on their lot over a month). Its well known that these guys make good margins on trade ins but still insist to play the"I'm losing money" card, which is highly irritating. Anyway, the sales associate was a nice guy (tall, black, younger gentleman from st Louis) and i would have happily bought from him. Patrick was fine in the few minutes we dealt with him. The "sales manager" was a pockmarked, condescending prick and had me out the door in 5 minutes.... Watch for the hidden fees. 8% of the sales price is quite a bit. I consider that false advertising, but apparently they smugly think its just fine because of their disclaimer in the fine print. I would steer clear More
Went to purchase either new or used vehicle, depending on prices and stock. After showing them a car shown on their website that was an internet special price, they told me that I'd have to qualify for mili prices and stock. After showing them a car shown on their website that was an internet special price, they told me that I'd have to qualify for military discounts, as well as others, to get that internet price. WRONG! Internet pricing has nothing to do with the other discounts that they offer! We were there for hours and got nothing but the run-a-round the entire time. This is my 3rd dealing with Midway Nissan and I can honestly say, I will NEVER go back. I will be sure to dissuade all of my friends from attempting purchases there in the future as well. There were two good people there. Dano, the second salesman we spoke to, and Angela from the Service Station. They were very professional and courteous without wasting our time. More
