We didn't even drive the car we wanted to trade in as we really weren't going to buy that day. Edwin drove our new vehicle to our house and drove back the car we were trading in. Woke up on President Day, was just going to see if I could get a car or something better than what I was driving. Had no set plan just hope that they would take my old car as trade on a newer car (new t could get a car or something better than what I was driving. The sale person (Tyler Beal ) was helping another customer, but didn't want me to wait, so he (Tyler) introduced me to his partner (Alex Trog). Alex shook my hand ( Strong hand shake)and said no worries, We got this. Walking to his little office space, I told him that I " have a down payment but I would trade in my current car." Alex smiled and said " We can work with that , let's look at your car and find something you like. Ok?" Alex , looked at my car and came into his office and asked if he could check my credit, I stated that my credit is not good. Again Alex smile and said Ok, let's see. . I felt like Alex and Tyler were working to help me a no body with little money to get a good running car. The vehicle I had my eye on was a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2005. But once in the vehicle , found out that my large frame didn't really fit. So Alex said " let me find something you'll like ,trust me." I was worried a little bit figured Alex would come out with a sedan or truck. Alex , presented a 2012 Equinox, with good mileage and just about the same amount that would have been for the Jeep. I was floored the Equinox was more than I had ever planned for and super cool. Alex smiled and said let's get you in it. Tyler came out to check if everything was going ok, and talked to me about my choice. Alex returned and said ok now for the paperwork, I signed some in Alex office and the rest at the main finance department. The 2012 Equinox was mine, no fuss ,no problem, As I pulled all my stuff out of my now old car , Alex and Tyler got my temp plate on my new car. And secured the plate from my old car too. All done ready to leave they both Alex and Tyler gave me there cards and said " Any problems call us , we will be here" Not only did I get a car , but a couple of friends. Midway is a business, and money is there gold but the people they have like Alex and Tyler made me feel safe and secure that my best interest was being handle like Family not a car buyer. Zaktek Scam I purchased a new Silverado at Midway 12 years ago. They MADE me purchase a Zaktek coating for $300. It was not an option as it was actually printed on the contract. I SHOULD HAVE WALKED OUT. It was supposed to guarantee the paint for as long as I owned the vehicle. The truck now needs to be painted but I keep getting sent from person to person (including GM customer service who sent me back to the same person that sent me there). Six people have shuffled me to someone else. Here it is 12 years later and I am just being told that I needed to take the truck in every 6 months to get re-coated, This is such a SCAM!!! If it wasn't, they would make it optional. They made me purchase something that now I have to maintain and yet all I was told at the time was that it guaranteed the paint for as long as I owned the truck The interesting thing is that when I explained this to someone at work, she said she bought a Camero there a year and a half ago and was required to purchase the same coating with no explanation that it was her responsibility to maintain it. I had a 12 year old Ford that never had a paint problem. Moral of the story is if you decide you need to own a Chevy, GO TO ANOTHER DEALER!!!! More

I was over charged. Service was great. I was charged $540 for a fuel pump (just the part) which I later found on the internet for $49.95 with free shipping. Plus $639 lab Service was great.
