When I purchased my vehicle I was given the impression that I was gaining a partner interested in keeping my Sorento in top condition. Travis Barnett was the only service advisor that could spare the time to actually talk to me about my Sorento. Now, taking my vehicle in for service ranks just ahead of going to the dentist. Why would I look forward to sign this checklist, sit in the waiting area until time to pay, then get the xxxx out. If I so much as look at a used car online I will be contacted multiple times, but when I come to the dealership I am left feeling unimportant. I pride myself on my vehicles appearance, somehow believing that it promotes potential to enhance the KIA image. My courtesy wash left my Sorento looking worse than when I brought it in. The water spots were so bad, I could barely see through side windows. I wiped it down to remove the spots from the windows and body and wondered if this is the level of attention to detail that I have purchased, what other shortcuts took place. I have never had my Sorento serviced anywhere but at this dealership. I am left with the feeling that I was only a valued customer at the time of purchase. My observation was that this is a high pressure dealership where employees go through the motions to be polite. Your slogan, "Always glad to see you!" seems to only apply to sales and not to we will be glad to see you from then on. More
When in doubt I brought in a video of an interior light not working. Told them it was intermittent and it would probably work while we were there and it did. But they believed me and my video and replaced the whole console part. It works perfectly. When in doubt BELIEVE your customers. They will keep coming back. Thank you. This is my third car thru MidTown. For a reason. More

Disappointed This used to be the best service center around when Primeaux owned it and even after when Joe was in charge of Service. I tried to schedule online but never got a call back to confirm the time. The girl I spoke with wasnt even aware that was an option. Just not impressed with any thing in the service department. We are switching to Ferguson in BA even though Midtown is much closer and I bought it there. More
Being told 1 thing then told something different exit 3 months ago, I was told by the service tech that the noise (knocking) in the engine and other issues I was having, was the reason for the “engine rec 3 months ago, I was told by the service tech that the noise (knocking) in the engine and other issues I was having, was the reason for the “engine recall” from 2yrs ago. I needed to come back in to have the engine evaluated again and contact KIA to have the engine replaced. This idea was given to me by the service tech. My engine has a knocking sound and it has gotten worse in the last 3 months. When a couple of gentlemen came to get my car, they were very friendly and professional and was very happy working with them. When I got my call concerning my service, I was surprised that they could not hear the knocking noise but when I got in to drive it into the parking garage, I could hear the knocking. I didn’t know what to do, I do not feel comfortable driving the car any distance with the engine knocking. More

They quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered the parts, performed the service and offered Came in for an oil change service, and window regulator repair. Came back for the window a few days later and car was back like new in an hour. More

Unplanned service emergency handled very nicely. I thought my service experience was quick and easy. Plus, they resolved a couple of recall issues that I didn't know existed at the time.
