Chloe, Sorry for any miscommunication that may have happened on our end, as we had told you if you get the work done here we would "waive" the diagnostic fee. The biggest miscommunication I believe that is on us, is that we cannot go off of another shops, or in this case an auto parts stores diagnostics on a vehicle. I am also sorry that it took a while to get your vehicle in the shop to get it diagnosed. This is not that way we want any customer to feel. When we quoted you the repair, I understand it is a pretty big repair and we would love the chance to earn your business back and work with you on the cost if you would allow us to repair the vehicle, as we told you mom. We run our business on honesty and transparency as the customers we have are what allow us to be here. The technicians we have here are trained and certified on Volkswagens and I can assure you we stand behind our diagnostics 100% and what we told you was the repair needed, to fix your vehicle. If you took it to another repair facility I am sure they have the same policy as us, in doing their own diagnostics, however we would be glad to give you the part number of the items that need replaced. Brandon, I don't expect you to go off of what they said, and that is why I came to you for a diagnosis - because I trusted you to get me right. However, when I decided that I no longer wanted VW to do the work, you refused to give me information about my diagnosis. We have called 3 separate times trying to get a copy of my diagnostic report. I was supposed to receive a piece of paper with that information on it as I was told by a female on the phone yesterday and I did not. She then told me that information regarding my diagnostic was not annotated correctly and so she could not give me the code or any information regarding the diagnosis. When my mom called, a lady told her they had the report in front of them. My mom asked her to email it to me and the lady said she would and never did. When we called and asked her to email it again, someone once again said it did not exist. Who is lying here?? Does the report exist or not? I paid for a diagnostic report and that should not be contingent on whether I choose to do the work with you or elsewhere. All I am asking for is the diagnosis report that I PAID FOR, PLEASE!!!!

When I arrived Friday, I told you what the autoparts store told me ONLY 'for your information', but expected you to do the diagnosis on your own and to pay for a proper diagnosis report. Now, you refuse to provide me the information about the diagnosis that you SAID you did despite chargine me $160. I was better off going to O'Rileys -- at least they aren't ripping me off. I don't want a free diagnostic, I just want the report that I paid for. If I do not receive what I paid for, the charge will be disputed.
