The Air Conditioner on our brand new Honda Accord stopped working on Sep 8, 2010. I immediately drove the car to Midlands Honda to have them look at it. The sales manager took me to Mike Brooks, who immedi working on Sep 8, 2010. I immediately drove the car to Midlands Honda to have them look at it. The sales manager took me to Mike Brooks, who immediately looked at the car and took it to the service bay. After about thirty minutes he came back and informed me that the problem was a part that had to be replaced and that they would need to keep the car overnight. Mike arranged for us to have a rental car at the dealer's expense (which they were not obligated to provide) which certainly was very much appreciated. The next morning Mike personally called to say that the car was ready and to pick it up at my earliest convenience. I picked the car up at lunch time and was treated as Midland's personnel always treat us-as special important people. Mike is an amazing gentleman and I am very impressed by his outstanding professionalism and the way he treats customers. The car was ready and had been fully returned to normal. I cannot express how much of a pleasure it is to deal with Midland's every time we go there for any reason and Mike Brooks personifies why this is so. Thank You for everything you do!! In today's economic times, the customer is not appreciated, I did not feel this way at Midlands Honda. It was a nice change to be greeted in a friendly manner. Issue #2: They did not close refill cap on the top of the engine at all, I found out that , when I was already on my way home. All engine area were in oil...messy...I came back to dealership , called the manager, manager did not come. One of the employees brought missing cap from somewhere, he wiped out a little bit oil from the top of the engine and wished me a nice day. I CHANGED FROM ONE DEALERSHIP AFTER BUYING 2 HONDA ACCORDS IN 1 YEAR AND WENT TO BUY WONDERFUL!! I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF MIDSLANDS' FOR A WHILE. I took my car to Midlands for an oil change on a Saturday. They were very busy but Mr. Michael Brooks, the service manager, told me he would get my car in and out as quickly as possible. Great customer service waiting area. Always treated very well. Large selection of new and pre owned vehicles. I am always comfortable there and always come away from service happy and satisfied. I can find many other Honda dealers much closer but this one is worth the drive. I will not buy anywhere else. More
Hi my name is Jocelyn and I am a very satisfied customer of Midlands Honda. I recently had some transmission problems with my car and my warranty on the vehichle has just expired. I first talked with the Best Service Advisor at Midlands Honda (Preston Locklear) and he told me he would do whatever he could to get the problem taken care of. I then spoke with the best Service Manager in Columbia SC (Regina Salinas) and she also told me that she would go above and beyond to get me some help with the repair of my car. She was outstanding!! She made calls and did everything she could to get me help with my repairs and I must say that, man was I pleased with the outcome. Anyone out there driving a honda can take my word for it I can testify that in my 31 years of life I have never been that pleased with a Dealership Service Department and if you want the very best for your car please please have it serviced at Midlands Honda (Killian Road) in Columbia SC they won't let you down. We had a pleasant experience purchasing our Honda van 2 years ago. The service department, on the other hand, has been a complete nightmare. On more than one occasion the van was not ready as promised fo years ago. The service department, on the other hand, has been a complete nightmare. We now have a repeat issue with the front driver's seat and the service manager went out of her way to block us from talking with the area warranty representative. I brought a 2004 Honda Pilot from Midlands Honda back in November 2008. Every since than I have been taking the car back over and over for my car making a noise. When I am driving my car and accelerating my truck makes a noise like the wind is blowing under the truck and there is no wind. It also causes my RPM to jump up and down. I have taking it to Midlands Honda because I bought it used and I have warranty ,but everytime I take it they can't find anything wrong. I also brought it in for other things to be repaired such as my door locks that didn't work. They never found anything wrong. Then when I went back of there they said I never bought it up there but once for that issue. I work two jobs it is hard for me to take of and go up there with my issue. Midland Honda does a poor job of service there vehicles. There used cars are poor condition and I don't think they thoroughly inspect there vehicles. I thoroughly don't recommend any one to deal with there sevice are used car department. Everyone in my family owns a Honda and we will not be dealing Midlands Honda in the future. More
