I guess people only want to do reviews if they have a complaint. I looked at the prior reviews before going to Midlands, so I was worried and apprehensive before going. After buying a new Pilot, I have to give the dealership high marks on each aspect. I found the best price at Midlands after checking with two other dealerships, one in person and emailing with another. It took a little longer to complete the purchase than I expected, but it was a busy Saturday. The people were very helpful and I am very pleased with a Pilot. This is my first Honda and I am impressed with the added features such as the built in sun shades and the remote back hatch door. My salesman showed me every feature even though he had other customers waiting. I got a brochure about and a tour of the service department so I will be familiar when I return for service on my car. The popcorn while I was waiting was a nice bonus! More

I purchased a 2008 Honda Fit from this dealer. After 2 weeks, the dealer called and informed me they did not get financing. I have good credit. After reviewing my credit I found that Midlands Honda did weeks, the dealer called and informed me they did not get financing. I have good credit. After reviewing my credit I found that Midlands Honda did not even submit my credit to a bank until 2 weeks latter. This resulted in my having my trade-in late because they never took care of it. After several calls to the dealership, none were returned. Then I was told not only did I have to give my new car back, but had to pay for them to store my trade-in. Midlands Honda ripped my off every way imaginable. Do not by a car from this dealer. They will rip you off to. The competition on Honda's in columbia sell the same car for alot cheaper. More
I purchased a used Honda Civic on April 5, 2008. I live in NC, so the dealership could not handle the titling and registration. I was told they would send this information to the NC DMV. I went to the NC D in NC, so the dealership could not handle the titling and registration. I was told they would send this information to the NC DMV. I went to the NC DMV a week later and they had no record of the transaction. I called Midlands on 4/17, and was told they would FedEx the title to me on Friday. The title did not come. On Tuesday (4/22) I called and was told that they did not have the title because it had a lien on it and had not been released by the lien holder. I talked to the Sales Mgr and explained my dilemma. He assured me he would follow up, but has never called me back. I called the dealership again and spoke to the Office Manager, and now the story is that they never received the title from the dealership where they bought the car. Meanwhile, my temporary tag is about to expire and I still have not received my title. I paid cash for this vehicle. I have never dealt with such incompetence at a dealership! More
