Laura Glass is a fantastic person to purchase a car from. I can not stress enough, how absolutly fantastic she was with every step of the process. I would recommend everyone request Laura when going to Midlands Honda. I gave the dealership only 4.0 in customer service and quality of work, because I had a lot of problems with a few other sales associates. I repetedly tried to get service and was unable to get any help, until I spoke with Laura. When I went to sign the financing documents the associate did not tell Laura that I had purchased an additional service. I had to bring the car back to have my services on the car completed, which ment waiting for an additional 30 minutes on another day. While this in itself is not deal breaker, I felt that the finance department did not care as much as they should. Once again, all I can say is "ask for Laura". She is great, listens well, and is not at all manipulative or aggressive. More
I live in Raleigh, NC and about a month ago I purchased a used 2008 Honda Civic, VIN# 2HGFA15558H512167, with around 8500 miles on the odometer from Nancy Dodge. I was told that the vehicle was purchased fr used 2008 Honda Civic, VIN# 2HGFA15558H512167, with around 8500 miles on the odometer from Nancy Dodge. I was told that the vehicle was purchased from an auction and had received a new front bumper cover and hood, both of which were true. I was also told that the vehicle was Honda Certified as well, but they had no documentation proving this and I took them at their word. I made the 3 hour drive down to pick up the vehicle and was told that the check engine light was on because of a defective oxygen sensor that they were not able to fix in time since they did not have the part in stock and that my local dealer would fix the problem under warranty. I test drove the vehicle and it seemed fine otherwise. A couple of days later I took the car to my local dealer in Durham, NC to have the check engine light problem resolved and they found the following: - The vehicle had been in a major collision, all body panels had been repainted and there was paint overspray throughout the vehicle on the trim, headlights, signals and taillights. - The alternator housing was cracked from the collision - The engine was making a whining/screeching noise that I was unaware was abnormal. - The car was NOT actually Honda Certified and would not have qualified as a certified vehicle because of the collision damage. - The passenger side rear view mirror motor was malfunctioning. - The passenger side front parking light bulb was disconnected. - The driver side front turn signal did not signal. - The oxygen sensor had caused the check engine light because it was disconnected. - Some body panels were not properly aligned and did not have the corresponding matching VIN stickers. All in all the bill was at least $1100 and nothing was to be covered under warranty. The next day I contacted Sam Reynolds and was eventually offered an even trade for another used 2008 Honda Civic. I drove back down to exchange vehicles on May 31st, 2009 and this time was given a 150 point Honda Certified inspection sheet. Upon verifying the inspection points on the sheet I noticed that several things had been "overlooked", but were resolved once I brought them to Nancy's attention. - Floor mats were not in the vehicle, the inspection sheet states that new mats are to be provided if none are included, however I was given used mats. - Passenger rear tail light was cracked - No owners manuals were included A week after I contacted Honda America to verify that the vehicle was entered in their database as a certified used Honda and was told that they had no record of it. After contacting Paul Ahn and Sam Reynolds a couple of times the vehicle was finally certified as of June 24th, 2009. Oh yeah, I was also sent the wrong title. More

She was very pleased with his honesty, patience, and friendliness. He explained everything in detail and did not pressure her. When I arrived the next day, his service was still outstanding. Even though he explained the features and process to my wife, he still showed the same courtesy. I would highly recommend Lonnie to my family, friends, or anyone who is in the market for a vehicle. My experience with Mark Rossi at Midlands Honda was wonderful! I live in Rock Hill and drove down to Columbia to look at an Accord I had seen online. In the past, my family has bought cars from the dealership in Rock Hill. Randy Threatt was who we got one of our other cars from. He recommended I talk with Mark Rossi about the cars I was interested in. Mark was most helpful and told me to come down whenever I could. I ended up coming down earlier than expected because 2 of the cars I had on my "wish list" had already sold and I didnt want to miss out! My sister and I got to Midlands around 11:00 and met with Mark. He showed me the cars I had written down from the website inventory. We test drove my favorite choice (07 Accord EX) and then went inside to talk. As he was reading down through the inventory, he stepped away and came back to tell me he needed to show me something. We went outside and he led me over to a shiny 2008 Accord. I loved it! We went back inside to talk about the price, etc. Mark continued to be patient with me as we were there for 4 hours! I thought about the pros and cons of the 07 vs 08. Finally, my decision was made to purchase the 08. I was thrilled. Mark even put my "CAT" (logo for Caterpillar) license plate on the front! I left with a smile from one ear to the other. I will certainly be back when it comes time to purchase another car. More
