It wasn't until two weeks after the repair that the work they did caused my entire engine to blow up. Whether stupidity or trickery - I don't have a car anymore. Mistakes happen though - and I would've been happy with some form of restitution, but... THEY DENIED WHAT THEY DID WAS IN ANY WAY TIED TO MY ENGINE FAILING, THEY HAVEN'T RETURNED MY CALLS, AND REFUSE TO REFUND A CENT. NEVER GO HERE! Honda will be ashamed to find their good name being dragged down by Middlekauff. Sneaky Rat Bastards! More
I just purchased a NEW Honda Oddyssey 2011 2 monthes ago from my local dealer in Kennewick, WA. It is very nice and in excellent condition. I have put 4,000 miles on it. Last week I took it on its first from my local dealer in Kennewick, WA. It is very nice and in excellent condition. I have put 4,000 miles on it. Last week I took it on its first long trip. Near Twin Falls Idaho I noticed that there was a scratching sound under my car and pulled over to take a look. It was a heat sheild from the gas tank hanging down. I looked up the nearest Honda Dealership and found MIDDLEKAUF HONDA. I was under the false impression that all Honda dealerships would take care of a custumer with a new honda. Middlekauf Honda does NOt take care of you at all. They took one look at me. A pregnant woman with two small children, and instead of thinking "HOw can I make this experience easier?" They thought. . . "How can I take advantage?" They diagnosed the heat shield, but said they were unable to purchase the shield alone, and that It would require an entire new gas tank $700 for the parts alone. I was wondering about this because the exploded diagram showed a shield sold separately. . . They also said that the tank would not be covered under warrantly, because there was a scuff on the shield (physical damage???). of course theres a scuff on it. . . it was dragging under my car on the freeway! A tech named Charlie, offered to remove the the shield and let me drive home as is, for a charge of $10. I was grateful to be able to get home so I accepted, but I told him. "I know this isn't you personally, but if a piece of crap falls off of my 33,000 dollar van 2 monthes after I buy it, you would think it could be removed for free." I left there with the feeling that I had purchased a complete lemon, that would fall apart, and that the warranty was a joke. When I arrived in the tri-cities I took it into my McCurley Honda Dealership, They said that everything bumper to bumper was covered until 36 monthes and that peices do not normally fall off of these cars! He also said that even if my car was out of warranty that I could have ordered just the sheild. There is no way that an entire gas tank would be needed! So either Middlekauf Honda's entire tech staff is unable to read an exploded parts diagram or they are crooked liars. Either way I wouldn't be comfortable going there. More
I just wanted to let someone know how pleased I was with my "car guy" Aaron Johnson. He sold me my car in November and has continued to be there for me even after the sale. I needed a headlight lamp replaced yesterday and contacted Aaron. He came to my place of employment and picked up my car, had the lamp replaced, and returned my car to me before I had to leave work. I am impressed and will recommend MiddleKauff and Aaron to friends, family, and anyone that I come across needing a new or used vehicle. Thank you for the great customer service! More
I took my 2002 Passport in because the ignition key would not come out of the ignition and for paint peeling down the drivers side in 2 large areas sepparated by a few feet. After 2 hours the service depart not come out of the ignition and for paint peeling down the drivers side in 2 large areas sepparated by a few feet. After 2 hours the service department called and said that they had found the proble (the neutral/park swith was loose) and that they had done a courtesy inspection finding almost $600 worth of work changing fluids. I went in to pick it up and found that I was being charged $95 for an hour of their mechanics labor and that the paint was "just a crappy paint job". I inquired as to why it took the mechanic an hour to find a loose switch and being that the vehicle has never been wrecked and repainted, how could it be a crappy paint job. The service man apparently became upset and asked if I had purchased an extended warranty. I told him yes, that I had the Honda Care plan. I was then told that it would not cover the factory paint but would cover the loose switch. Not 5 minutes later he was billing my card and when I asked about the Honda Care coverage covering it he just said "nope" with no explanation of any kind. He then retrieved my vehicle. I was standing waiting as he pulled up. He simply got out, leaving the key in the ignition, and began to walk away. I said "Have a good day" and he neither turned to acknowlege nor respond at all. This dealorship has very questionalbe billing practices in my opinion (bordering on gouging) and a total lack of customer service. More
THey were so friendly and nice. They helped me with everything i needed I was in and out quickly and everything was explined to me throughly. I feel they treated me fair and honistly. I would reccomend it to anyone. More
