Showed up out of the blue with a dead battery, and I was back on the road within an hour! (for less than the price that AAA was offering for a new battery - without the 30mo warranty) Amazing. back on the road within an hour! They have good service, but I don't agree with passing on fee green repair order processing and storage fee and pay shop charge repair order fee to the customer without adequate explanation as to what they a fee green repair order processing and storage fee and pay shop charge repair order fee to the customer without adequate explanation as to what they are. I attempted to find out what these fees were for before paying the invoice, and it was explained as a charge to keep my car's info on the computer as well as a charge to open a repair order when an appointment was scheduled. I called back and spoke with an scheduler and asked for a better explanation of which was identical to the advisor's. I honestly thought the green fee was about the used oil storage and disposal. If this is for cloud storage, I can understand the need for that and the company wants to pass along their fee. But to charge the customer to put in a repair order for a needed service is a bit ridiculous. Granted the fees were minimal ($2.99 and $2.15), but it's the principle of the matter. Of course I also understand that these could be "hidden" within the service cost, and I appreciate they were broken out as they were. Hopefully the staff will be given a more robust explanation for these fees so that future customers can understand the charges being passed along to them. More
Taylor was absolutely incredible. By far the easiest experience I've ever had buying a car, and the service department always has done a great job as long as I've been going there. We probably walked in to Michael's Subaru on one of the busiest days of the year for this dealership; on a Sunday, no less. But we were there with the purpose of purchasing a new '25 Outback, and trade busiest days of the year for this dealership; on a Sunday, no less. But we were there with the purpose of purchasing a new '25 Outback, and trade in our '16 Honda Fit. I knew they had exactly the trim and color I wanted in their inventory, so we were determined. From the moment we walked in, we met Shantel Williams, who became our sales rep and ushered us through the whole process of finding our new Outback, do the trade in, bit of negotiating, accessories... etc. We also had our pup with us, who was trooper through the long evening at Michael's, and everyone was great with him. While being super attentive and friendly, Shantel made sure that the process was really easy for us, and was clear on every step of the way. With how busy the place way, she made sure that we were attended to, giving us updates on how things were going as we went along the process. It helped too that we had no plans, and nowhere else to go except home when we completed the purchase. Our finance agent Chris was also extremely helpful in driving the deal home, and ensuring that we were happy with our decisions. All in all, the customer service at Michael's is second to none for buying a new Subaru. Sure, it's their job, but you do get the impression that everyone that works there believes in the brand, what it means, and that they're all really into these cars. Again a big shout out to Shantel and Chris for being great with us, and making a big purchase like this one an awesome experience. We love driving our new Outback! More
