I recently bought a Chevrolet Camaro, at your business, for my oldest daughter. The auto consultant at Miami Lakes Auto Mall who worked with us was Mr. EDDIE FERNANDEZ. Eddie should be commended for repr for my oldest daughter. The auto consultant at Miami Lakes Auto Mall who worked with us was Mr. EDDIE FERNANDEZ. Eddie should be commended for representing your company in a very positive way. He was helpful, cordial, polite and truthful. Truthful. That's one word that is usually not synonymous with "auto salesman". Unfortunately, I found this to be true at your dealership as well. I had first spoken several times over the telephone with a man who identified himself as LUIS Fernandez. LUIS Fernandez told me over the phone (due to an internet search that I made) that he had the exact color vehicle that my daughter wanted and would hold it for us at the dealership since we were coming there the next day. - (LIE #1). Secondly, he told me that I would receive a $1500. discount because we were a "2nd-time Chevrolet vehicle purchaser because we were trading in a Chevrolet Cavalier". (LIE #2). He also stated that I would receive an additional discount due to my military experience. (LIE #3). I explained to him that I was a retired 35-year veteran law enforcement officer and he stated that I still would receive the discount. (LIE #4). When my daughter and I arrived at your dealership, Luis Fernandez was not available. He had previously informed me that a Mr. Eddie Fernandez would be assisting me and knew everything that I was looking for as well as the discounts that I was promised. Upon arrival on May 26th, 2012 at approximately 11:30 AM, we were met by Mr. EDDIE FERNANDEZ, not LUIS. Eddie told me that the color vehicle that my daughter wanted was NOT AVAILABLE (See LIE #1 by Luis). Eddie also stated that the $1500 Chevrolet discount was only for Chevrolet Trucks (SEE LIE #2 by Luis). He also stated that the military discount was only for those in the military (SEE LIE #3 & 4 by Luis). I bought the vehicle anyway since Eddie did make me a fair deal and my daughter really wanted the car. BUT, I feel that the individual who had identified himself as “LUIS FERNANDEZ” lied, lied, and lied some more and definitely put a black mark on your dealership. I guess I’m not so disappointed since car dealers and dealerships are known to lie to their customers and apparently your dealership is no better. I am in the market for two more vehicles this year. My son-in-law wants to purchase a Dodge Charger and I am planning on purchasing an Equinox. As much as we enjoyed the professionalism of EDDIE FERNANDEZ, I cannot overlook the lies that I was told by LUIS to “lure” us in to your dealership. I am a man who believes in a high degree of ethics in any business. I am sorry that one sales representative by the name of LUIS FERNANDEZ will cause me to look elsewhere when it comes to purchasing any future vehicles. More
