Perhaps one thing they did right is to have their Internet department post an aggressive end of year discount ahead of all the other dealership in South Florida. Due to that, there was essentially no negotiation for my new Grand Cherokee as I went for the online price. The unconvinced salesperson asked me to show them their own webpage which was a bit weird but still OK. My trade-in had a very low value, no matter how we put it, and I didn't care at all about the financing APR. It is only after signing the papers that I started seeing the true face of their organizational culture. I noticed that there wasn't a drop of coolant visible in my radiator and the break fluid was low. I returned 2 days after to have the fluids topped off and they said it was completed. I saw later on at home that that they didn't add a drop of coolant and I decided to go to another dealership. I also went to another dealership to have my wheel alignment performed because the vehicle was pulling to the right, something I noticed on the interstate. Before that, I asked Miami Lakes Automall CDJ about the cost for navigation activation for on my 8.4A system. They said they had a heavily discounted price, it was a bit short of $800, but in order to "benefit" from it I would have to schedule the work immediately. End of story is that I got it for $595 at the other dealership but I could have done it myself for the same price (it is the price of purchasing a code from Chrysler-Uconnect and typing it). The worst experience of all is still ongoing. With the signing of the papers I paid for the new registration and the new tags, to be mailed once the temporary registration expires. To this day I haven't received the new registration and I am driving around with expired tags. I called the dealership 1.5 weeks before my temporary tags expired but no one would even want to update me on the status. Contacting the Sales Manager (phone call, voice mail, e-mail) Javier Betancourt convinced me that he isn't more useful than a piece of furniture. The only options remaining were to file a complaint with the General Manager and also a dispute with the Better Business Bureau. So I am waiting for a resolution and, in the meantime, reducing my trips to a minimum. More

It was a car purchase. Not quite Disney but enjoyable. My sales guy Carlos Molina was great. In fact, everyone was very pleasant. The sales manager, I think his name is Padron. The finance guy, I think his name is David, also enjoyable. All good with just a small exception. The internet sales team is not quite up to major league level and almost blew the sale. Despite this deficiency, I visited the dealership and made the deal happen. Not entirely smooth as car purchases never are. MLA is a bit stingy with the trade ins so you'll probably want to get it sold somewhere else and come back with that done and just concentrate on the purchase. Expect lots of back and forth as you would anywhere else. Come prepared with your facts and you'll leave happy. -RC More
