I left it there again and now my keys have disappeared and my car remains parked at lot with all managers and advisers and assistants to cooperate. Went to Kia service because my headlights keep turning on/off at random. Read a report this is a normal electrical issue for KIA Soul 2015 which is my model. After waiting close to 5 hours, a shady service agent brings me outside to give me the news: It's going to cost $1500 to replace the entire headlights plus $700 for the service- but he assures me it's not an electrical problem as the car was thoroughly inspected. I am stunned at this point and tell him I need to discuss the cost with my husband. He agrees and tells me if he gives me a paper receipt for the service, it would be upwards of $120 for the check up because my car is out of warranty; however, if I just give a tip to the service guy (say $60 cash), we can call it a day. I chose the lesser amount without thinking much about it (perhaps thinking in that moment he was trying to give me a price break). Upon said cash exchange, I did not receive any estimate printout of service or report of what was done to my vehicle. Husband said he acted unethically and very shady. Now I have no proof of what's wrong with the car, and no estimate. The service guy is short, husky, and wears heavy black rimmed glasses. I think he said his name started with an E or M (not sure). After this experience, I will not be taking my car there for service again. Now I have to take it to another dealership to get it evaluated for the same issue and I'll have to spend money again-don't worry, this time, I'm getting my receipt. More
