Quick, easy, painless. Marc was friendly, and did his best to get us what we wanted despite how incredibly busy it was at the time. The exact options we wanted weren't available anywhere within the timeframe to get the financing deal we wanted, but he found us a reasonable compromise, and made some concessions to compensate. All in all, it was one of the best experiences I've had at a car dealership. I'd definitely recommend Marc if you're in the market for a Subaru. More
Didn't even bother showing, went to Cityside Subaru instead I had a car I absolutely loved, and would've kept for my entire life if possible, totaled by a guy who ran a stop sign. It was a BMW 1 series M, look I had a car I absolutely loved, and would've kept for my entire life if possible, totaled by a guy who ran a stop sign. It was a BMW 1 series M, look them up. Subaru doesn't make a car that comes close to it, and the closest window sticker price they have is shy at least $20k. I called to schedule a test drive their top of the line sports car, the WRX STi. I was told nope, you can't drive it. Then told, well maybe but we'll need to run your credit first, even for just the regular WRX Limited (the one with all the bells and whistles the STi has less the big wing and brakes, and I think an eDiff... which sidenote honestly baffles me that Subaru considers an extra 20hp and a big brake kit worth an extra $12k, I can add both myself for less than $3k). Anyway, I digress. I say to the sales guy, Nick...I'm getting an insurance check in the mail for well over the cost of your vehicle. By the way, I should say I don't think this is totally on him, it sounded more like a dealership policy, but a xxxx stupid one. Didn't help him though that the first thing out of his mouth was "we don't test drive those"...then how does one know if they want to buy it? Listen, I get that you probably get kids and frivolous test drives all the time, but hey welcome to the world of car sales...it happens. So I understand the hesitance to commit a test drive on their most expensive car (still only around $40k), but in the future consider that maybe, just maybe (heavy sarcasm here), the person on the other end of the phone is actually going to buy. I did, just not from Metrowest. If you're going to stick with you whole credit check pre-testdrive policy, I'd consider waiting to meet the person first, you lost a sale because that policy was more important to you than selling a car. I would've let you run my credit no problem I know I'm good for it, but to have that be the emphasis on my very first call and request to schedule a drive...big turn off. Sorry guys, get your s*** together and respect your prospective customers. More
