We recently purchased a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe from Herb Connolly, trading in a "clunker". I've been an insurance agent in the Newton/Needham area for over 20 years, and I have dealt with a LOT of deal Herb Connolly, trading in a "clunker". I've been an insurance agent in the Newton/Needham area for over 20 years, and I have dealt with a LOT of dealers....I have to say, Herb Connolly is one of the most professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and just plain nice to work with dealerships I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We did a lot of research on the car (and the "clunker" program) before we even set out to test drive one. The first dealer we went to told us they didn't have one in the color we wanted on the lot...we had already been there two days before and even sat in it (it was the base model, and we wanted one of the two higher end models if possible). Once we showed him where it was on his lot, he "went to his manager" and came back with a price $5000 over the MSRP (for that base model) then told us it was "really hard" to get the actual model we wanted from another dealer. The next day, I basically checked the website or actually emailed every dealer in New England to find the car I wanted. Some came back and said they had the vehicle, but in the wrong color or trim level. Adam Owens at Herb Connolly was the only one that contacted me and said they would get the exact car we wanted - and gave me an excellent quote to boot. We went in to sign the contract, and everything was absolutely perfect from there. The price for the car was exactly what had been quoted to me, with the normal dealer and registration fees clearly marked. Roy and Doug made everything very, very easy, and just over a week later the car came in (in plenty of time for our "clunker" deal). The car is perfect, exactly what we wanted (and a blast to drive !)...and I now have a new favorite dealer that I will be recommending to everyone. Thank you, Herb Connolly !! Karen Martin More
