Herb Connolly to the Rescue I had a flat tire on rte. 9. AAA changed the tire but I needed to get the damaged tire fixed ASAP to get to a Dr. appointment. I called Herb Connolly's service dept. and they said bring the car right in and they would fit me into their busy schedule. I was given priority and in 20 minutes the car was ready with no charge for fixing the tire. I have been a devoted customer for 13 years and my Acura TSX 2004 purrs like a kitten. My Acura MDX When I purchase a car it's typically not the sales person that sells me this vehicle. I've already done my research, test drove many different brands When I purchase a car it's typically not the sales person that sells me this vehicle. I've already done my research, test drove many different brands and models and then make my decision mainly based on reliability and cost of ownership factors. I previously owned a 2007 Honda Pilot that I bought from Herb Chambers in Burlington MA. The service after the sale was outstanding since my purchase and remains that way because I gave my Pilot to my son. When I decided to purchase an Acura I had every intention of buying it from a Herb Chambers dealership. But to my surprise Herb didn't sell Acura's. Through a friend I became acquainted with the number two man, Bob, of Herb Chambers. After I explained my situation to him and when I told him where I lived, without hesitation he recommended Herb Connolly Acura of Framingham. Taking into consideration of what I stated prior, I was willing to travel as many as 25 miles to connect with a dealership known for its service after the sale. Again Bob highly recommended Herb Connolly Acura of Framingham. It's not often the Norteastern region GM would recommend a competitor but Bob knew I wanted to purchase an Acura MDX. With that being said I went to Herb Connolly Acura of Framingham. In fact Bob actually provided me the name and contact info of one of the brothers who is part owner of Herb Connolly motors. I reached out to him and began a relationship I've yet to regret. Since my purchase, remember I was already sold on the Acura MDX, I have been treated with respect and truly feel like a valued member of the Herb Connolly family. I received a price that no other Acura dealership could match. But like I stated, how I rate a dealership is how I'm treated AFTER the sale. Headed by Ken Tanaka, the sales department has gone above and beyond following my purchase. I recently had a very negative experience with a body shop following a minor accident. When I purchased my car I also purchased the Simoniz protection package. Even though the body shop was paid to have my car re-Simonized they scammed me and never actually applied the treatment by an authorized technician or establishment. Being fanatical about my vehicles, I was willing to pay out of pocket for a reapplication of the Simoniz protection. When I tried reaching someone from Herb Connolly's Finance department to make an inquiry into having my car Simonized, there were a few technical difficulties getting in touch with one of the two representatives. I then asked to speak with the Sales Manager and that's when I was introduced to Ken. Without hesitation Ken provided me a "Good Faith" offer and had my entire vehicle re-Somnized at no cost to me. Now to me, that's what I consider outstanding treatment after the sale. Not only has my experience been positive with the sales team, Herb Connolly's Service department, headed by James Brown, has surpassed all expectations I had from my previously outstanding experience at Herb Chambers. I've been treated with respect, any and all of my concerns have been taken serious and addressed in a timely manner. James and his outstanding team, I deal with Kevin Hagerty, are fabulous. In hindsight I have zero regrets regarding my carefully thought out decision to purchase my Acura MDX from Herb Connolly Acura of Framingham. If you are considering purchasing an Acura brand vehicle, I would highly recommend Herb Connolly of Framingham. I sleep well know that if I have any issues with my car going forward, the team at Herb Connolly will stand by me and never turn their backs on me. Steve R. More
