I also mentioned how I was in a bit of a rush, and even though I said that my service guy came and asked if I wanted a wash and vacuum and how long it would take. The apponent was a very pleasurable experience as I was updated on the status of my repair throughout the process. The loaner car was very nice and quite impressive with all of the new features Acura has added to the new TLX! The car was completed in time and. The repair bill was exactly what was quoted. Quick in and out I scheduled an oil change (using a discount coupon) and before I got there, the brake light illuminated on the dash. They diagnosed the alert as being a faulty float switch, but did not have a replacement on hard for my 2002 TL. That part was ordered with an expected availability of a day or two and when doing their usual checkout, also discovered that my battery was not up to spec. Being that I will be driving down to FL in Dec., I thought that should be replaced before I got stuck someplace along the way. All said and done, they did all the indicated work in under than 2 hours (including the complementary wash/vacuum) which I think was quite reasonable considering that I showed up 15 minutes early for my scheduled appointment. More

Kevin the service rep wasn't helful I have had Acura vehicles for over 20 years I have put up with less than great service at the Framingham MA dealership for years because there is no I have had Acura vehicles for over 20 years I have put up with less than great service at the Framingham MA dealership for years because there is no other choice. The last visit to the service center was due to a recall on my 2016 MDX Kevin the service rep was not friendly. He wasn't willing to listen. I would say he came off as a bit arrogant. When I picked up the car I got a short explanation that besides taking care of the recall repairs, they didn't find anything wrong with the entertainment system (Bluetooth seems to drop connection intermittently as keep an re-stablishing connection with my Pandora station and it gets truly annoying) nor with the driver seat setting issues that I had reported. Sure enough as I'm pulling out of the dealership, the entertainment system Bluetooth starts acting up again. By the way, I was made to feel that I was being done a favor by repairing the issues related to the recall instead of being a bit apologetic in the name of Acura. I hope the transmission issues go away over the next 200 miles as Kevin had briefly explained. FOLLOW-UP I appreciate the call from the dealership manager who explained that the Bluetooth connectivity issue might be due to an issue with the latest iPhone OS update. He also was kind enough to point out that Apple might be coming up with a new update for the iPhone OS where they will address this issue. More
