Hello Shell B., Please accept our apology for any misunderstanding that you encountered. After several days of ownership, you towed your vehicle to us. We agreed to make things right and replace the battery at our cost, however you advised me that you wanted nothing further to do with the vehicle and wanted a check cut for the down payment. I advised and you understood that we could only refund the down payment back to the payment method you used. You advised that you cancelled the CC that was used 2 days after the transaction. Since you agreed that we would help you find another vehicle there was no further discussion with myself regarding the down payment until yesterday, 2/13/2023. You desired to test drive a 2014 Jetta and was advised by myself that our Sales Mgr., Fred Robinson would reach out to you to see if you qualified and if approved your down payment would go toward the new purchase. Fred Robinson notified you 3 hours before your arrival that unfortunately the vehicle had been sold. You showed up upset that it wasn't available explaining that the salesman had communicated (in error) that it was and at that time you demanded a refund. We politely rectified the situation and your $1,000 down-payment refund was processed on 2/13/2023 back to a new CC that you provided.
