I currently had to leave my car at the Metro Honda dealer in Jersey City, NJ and the service part of the experience was as expected, but the customer service was extremely disappointing. I would have NEVER taken my car for service if I would have known how disrespectful and rude the customer service representatives are. Trying to get through on the phone was a nightmare. When someone actually picked up the phone, it was a constant, “I’ll have to put you on hold”; “Mr. X is not here”; “You will need to leave a voice mail message”, etc. etc. etc. I forgot some personal items in my car (that I left for service) and when I returned, they were missing. None of the employees seemed to care or even “pretend” to care. They didn’t try to ask around, did not checked with the “lost and found” and definitely took absolutely no responsibility for the loss. Did not offer to check their security cameras because it was probably one of the employees. Well … they lost a customer for sure and I was so ready to buy a new Honda.
