BUYER BEWARE I went in to Metro Honda requesting to look at a 2012 Hyundai. I test drove the vehicle and was excited to purchase. The sales person handed me off to I went in to Metro Honda requesting to look at a 2012 Hyundai. I test drove the vehicle and was excited to purchase. The sales person handed me off to finance manager who said I did not qualify for that vehicle and pulled up a old 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid. He said this was the ONLY vehicle I could get because my credit was poor. He charged me 2k OVER blue book for it and I had to put 2k down. When I asked him to lower the price to around blue book value but he said "sorry I have to make money too and you're lucky to get this one, it has low miles". When I drove the vehicle home I noticed the alignment was severely off and immediately called in to report the issue and have it fixed. He told me he wouldn't fix it since I bought it that way. After calling and asking for a week to have it fixed, he said they would fix it but I would not get a rental even though I had to work and didn't have another reliable vehicle. I ended up dropping the subject since he was making it impossible to get it fixed. He took advantage of my situation and forced me to purchase something I didn't want. I ended up paying OVER 11k (blue book was not even 8k) with a 20% interest rate, not to mention the hybrid battery stopped working about a month later and I had to pay 1500 to have this issue fixed. I guess I am a prime example of what Metro Honda does when a young naive girl with new credit comes in to purchase a car. I will NEVER come back here! EXPECT High pressure sales and to be treated poorly if you lack credit! Guess as long as they get their commission then who cares right! More
