Went there last Saturday in an attempt to trade in my car for a new one. As soon as I entered and told the sales rep my intentions she asked for my car keys and proceeded to “appraise” my car. While that was for a new one. As soon as I entered and told the sales rep my intentions she asked for my car keys and proceeded to “appraise” my car. While that was being done I was going over my options with a sales manager. After we discussed payment options he left and sometime later the original sales rep returned with a sheet of paper outlining my lease and finance options. As soon as I read those numbers I laughed, scoffed then said I’m leaving - you’re wasting my time! I asked for my car keys and she told me to have a seat and she’ll get them for you. I said, no, give me my keys now so I can leave. She said she doesn’t have them that her manager has them. I said get him asap because I want to leave. The manager came and asked what is the problem. I explained and again asked for my keys. He said wait and sit down to discuss options. At this point I can tell they were holding my keys “hostage” until I agreed to their terms which were ridiculous. I said nope I have to go and marched into the management office and demanded my keys. It was only after I threaten to make a scene at the dealership did they give me my keys. Unbelievable. Is this how Metro Honda conducts business? That’s not rhetorical. I genuinely would like to hear from other customers. On a side note that same sales manager was berating an elderly gentleman at the desk next to where I was seated on why he wasn’t aware that there was a “mark-up” on the vehicle he purchased. Shame. More
I was able to make a deal at reasonable cost. I had seen dealerships offering cars at $10-$20K over MSRP. At Metro Honda we were able to negotiate a fair price for all. Service department is amazing! I bring all my Hondas to this dealership for warranty/recall service. Honest people and isn't pushy with "extras" unlike most other dealerships.
