This REview is for Metro Honda (NJ 07305) I went in to purchase a Honda Accord 2009 in September 2009, when the rates are considered good, They had only 1 in the color I wanted (2009 model), For XYZ reaso purchase a Honda Accord 2009 in September 2009, when the rates are considered good, They had only 1 in the color I wanted (2009 model), For XYZ reason I couldn't buy before 3 weeks, they agreed to HOLD my car for a deposit check of $2000, (NON- REFUNDABLE). They sold off the Car in 1.5 weeks and called me, telling me that they sold it BY MISTAKE. ( that is clear BS*, they must have got a better price). This is so unacceptable. My wife and I were soo looking forward to buy this car particularly the color which was only available with them, and they SOLD it even after we placed a NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $2000. THEY ARE A CHEAT. I will not recommend them. They could have sold me a 2010 for a resonable price increase but they wouldn't decrease the price on the 2010 either to equalize their mistake. I had to CANCEL the deal, which was so very sad for my Wife and I. (WE WASTED the Entire WEEKEND, not to mention we had to rent a car for 2 days for this) I Recommend you go to some other dealer like Hudson Honda. More
I was recently wrecked my 1997 Honda Civic and needless to say did not receive much from my insurance company. With what little money I had, I went out looking for something decent I could get into that I to say did not receive much from my insurance company. With what little money I had, I went out looking for something decent I could get into that I could afford. My credit wasn't the best, and I found several other area dealers to be rude and abrupt once they saw my credit report. It's almost as if they didn't want to sell me a car! I traveled a half hour from home to Metro Honda, desperate to find someone who would work with me, and I was not disappointed. I explained my situation to my salesperson, Jason Hoefel, and then spent some time reviewing my credit report. We found a 2005 Honda Civic that I fell in love with, and then waited as Jason went to his managers (assuming he would come back and say he could not help). Instead, I was shocked when his manager Lisandro came over to sit with me, again going over my credit report trying to see what the best approach would be to get me into a vehicle. After speaking with Lisandro (who was wonderful), he and Jason went to sit with the finance manager who spent time working with several banks to see who would approve me for a loan and they got the job done! They detailed the car while I met with the finance manager Marcus. Instead of getting "strong-armed" into buying more at insane prices, I found Marcus to be very courteous and professional, and even gave me a great deal on a service plan through Honda! I regret all the time I spent going from dealership to dealership, I shhould have gone there first and would suggest the same to anyone looking to have a pleasant car buying experience. Ask for Jason H.!!! More
They are very dishonest people. The salesman quoted a price over phone and instructed me to come over. They were telling me that they will beat the price I have got from another dealer. I wasted around 1 price over phone and instructed me to come over. They were telling me that they will beat the price I have got from another dealer. I wasted around 1 Hr to drive to there dealership, met with the sales man, then he quoted me a price which way greater than the quote I had from another dealer(say Garden State Honda). They were telling me that nobody can beat the price. I just walked away from there, went to Garden State Honda and purchased car right away. From my experience I wont refer this dealership to any other person. They play lot of games to get you fooled. More
I have purchase 3 cars from this location the first time they treated very well but they did played games with me about the price of the car but they did compensate with a gas card and some oil changes but they treated very well but they did played games with me about the price of the car but they did compensate with a gas card and some oil changes but the last time I bought my accord from them they overcharge me for my car and I didn't even knew it till I started have some problems with the car and I open the seal envelop they gave me with the paper work I went back and they didn't wanted to work around my busy life so I asked them if I could get a loaner with they replay it was only 4 ppl that buy new cars so I didn't care that much I got pissed and left and payed for the repairs out of my pocket when the time came to trade this car they started to give me the run around saying they were busy and bla bbla bla so I went to a chevy dealer they checked the car fax and the car was involved in an accident so I went back to the dealer and the manager helped me after I made a scene he said that the accident was in the car fax and that I was told about it and that I sign the carfax and that he had it on file so I ask to see it and then he put to many excuses saying my folder got lost and bla bla bla so I'm thinking how the f#ck did he saw my signature on it if the file was missing staring from the maanager all the way down to the installers their all so full of it More
I live in Bergen County and have plenty of local Honda dealerships to choose from...I chose Metro honda in Jersey City NJ because I have several friends that have purchased cars from them. When I went to dealerships to choose from...I chose Metro honda in Jersey City NJ because I have several friends that have purchased cars from them. When I went to purchase my 2010 Pilot, my salesman was great and the finance manager was also. My husband and I were treated so nicely, and they made the entire sales experience from start to finish so smooth!! The showroom was beautiful, we were greeted by a very professional employee when we walked in, and when we were introduced to our salesman, we knew we were leaving with a car from Metro that day. I have already brought in my Pilot to Metro's Service Dept for an oil change, and they are wonderful and courteous as well. I would recommend Metro Honda in Jersey City NJ to all of my friends and family!! More
From the moment I stepped in I was treated more like a friend then a customer, the young lady at the front desk was very polite and although the dealership was crowded after just about 5 minutes I was bei friend then a customer, the young lady at the front desk was very polite and although the dealership was crowded after just about 5 minutes I was being taken care of. The salesman told me more about the car then the previous dealer I visited. I felt like I knew exactly what I would be paying for. The prices were fairly close but they gave me the best deal and I never felt pressure to have to buy from neither him or the manager. And after I went out to grab lunch WHICH WAS ON THE SALESMAN, I was convinced. I would give them a 10 if I could. GREAT DEALER! More
I would like to take the time to express my appreciation for all the time and effort you gave to my recent vehicle purchase. I am thrilled with the new 2009 Civic and I was extremely impressed with your dea for all the time and effort you gave to my recent vehicle purchase. First they lured me all the way from NY to the dealsership with low price over the phone, then they gave me a much higher price and telling me I lied about the quote. Buyer beware, they are dis dealsership with low price over the phone, then they gave me a much higher price and telling me I lied about the quote. I was looking for a new car and text dove a Civic coupe and an Accord Coupe. The salesperson put me in the cars without showing me its features, and with one car he even asked me if there was enough gas in and an Accord Coupe. The salesperson put me in the cars without showing me its features, and with one car he even asked me if there was enough gas in the tank. He took no time at all to show me the features that would make me want to buy the cars. The sales office called me INCESSANTLY and even went as far as to leave voicemails and sounding irritated with my inability to respond immediately. They were not very understanding when it came to me not responding immediately because I have a busy work schedule. What's more, the sales office NEVER gave me the full price of the vehicle. Instead, I was given "monthly estimates". I was so dissatisfied with the operations and professionalism with this dealership that I went elsewhere and even to a different automotive brand. This dealership is bad for business, and the Honda brand name. Point blank. More

I did an online research, a couple of days later I received a call from Metro Honda telling me that they had the car in stock with the color that I wanted, for a pr research, a couple of days later I received a call from Metro Honda telling me that they had the car in stock with the color that I wanted, for a price below the book value.I live in New York but I had no problems going to another state to save $3000.Upon arrival I was greeted by the person that lured me into dealership,I was assign a sales Rep and given a test drive. Then the real price was given they claimed it is impossible that they gave me that quote.Futhermore, that quote was for a four cylinder Accord. I was called a liar to my face and belittled in front of my kids. Please anyone who is in the market for a new Honda, please save yourself the embarassment. Their sales pitch were " We sell thousands of Hondas every month that is why we can give you a quote below the MSRP. More
