I really want to thank everyone at Metro Honda especially John C. He is the best, my family has been purchasing cars from him since he was in sales and even recently as the GM. I would never want to deal wi John C. He is the best, my family has been purchasing cars from him since he was in sales and even recently as the GM. I would never want to deal with any other dealer, John is always very patient with my family and answers all questions, he is very knowledgeable about every car he sells and that makes the experience of buying a car from him simple and easy. I originally went to look across the street at the Nissian Ultimas and wasn't to clear on some of the things they were talking about. I came over to Metor Honda and THANK GOD I DID! I spoke with Justi Nissian Ultimas and wasn't to clear on some of the things they were talking about. I came over to Metor Honda and THANK GOD I DID! I spoke with Justin who showed me the Accord and explained everything about the car. Then I met John C. (Not sure how to spell his last name. I think everyone just calls him John C.) When it came to buying the car and all my options, John couldn't have been any better at explaining EVERYTHING and doing it so I could understand. He made me feel very comfortable about buying my Accord and I couldn't be happier. He made me feel like a family member the way he went above and beyond about everything! I have recommnded Metro Honda to two people already and will never buy a car from anywhere else! The service was INCREDIBLE and so is my ACCORD! Thanks John, Justin, and Metro Honda!! More
LAst Year I had a very good experience buying a new honda fit 2009 from John Lizares (salesman), i heard he's not in jersey city metro honda anymore, so I talked to different salesman in January 2011 to have fit 2009 from John Lizares (salesman), i heard he's not in jersey city metro honda anymore, so I talked to different salesman in January 2011 to have my honda fit 09 traded to Honda CRV 2011. So i traded it in and talked to Sam (sales man). At first they are trying to give me the price that i wanted (which is basically the price in edmunds.com). Then I talked to Lisandro (the manager) to close the deal. So everything was good so far until I came to the final talking with Marcus Rivera. I didn't expect that they actually forced me to get their warranty plan(which i don't think is right) and kept insisting that it was ok to pay more because I am an RN (which doesn't make sense - are they trying to say they ask you more because they know in the long run you will be making more income) I insisted that if they will keep doing that I 'll change my mind and not get the car although i already transferred all my stuff from my honda fit to the new honda crv. SO they ended giving it to me anyway. Then a day after- I found out I don't have my antenna ( they resolved it which i think was a very small problem) I signed all the paperworks including my cancellation of contract of my old HOnda service so i can get my refund. Marcus Rivera kept promising me I can receive the check in about a month. A month passed by, still no check. I called Marcus rivera like million times- no return call ( he actually mention " call me if there's any problem"). then I finally had a chance to talk to him- again he said the same thing- " expect the check next week". But again, same thing happened, no check. So i called to talk to the manger. I spoke to Lisandro. He said he checked it and I'll be receiving it after a week. 2 weeks had passed, i haven't received any check yet. So i called Honda care services (because I am tired of what they keep telling me. I found out that my paperworks have not sent yet my METROHONDA for the passed 2 months( which is very ridiculous) I ended up doing the paperworks all over again and send them myself. I actually solve the problem myself. I have a terrible experience with these people in Metro honda this time . I will never recommend this to any friends. I will keep my car because i like Honda, but in case ill change it to a different car- i will never go back to this dealer. More
I don't think anyone counts car shopping as a pleasurable experience. I would highly recommend Metro Honda to anyone based on our experience. From the start, the management staff was the most responsive and professional I've ever worked with. Our salesman was courteous and very forthright. He was incredibly respectful and found us a car in our price range. Finally, the business manager worked hard to secure us a loan at lower rates than we could found on the private market. Hands down a terrific experience and quite refreshing. More
This dealership is great because of the wonderful people that work there. Emmanus was my sales person, he was informative, courteous, and most of all genuine. Initially, the car I wanted wasn't available. E that work there. Emmanus was my sales person, he was informative, courteous, and most of all genuine. Initially, the car I wanted wasn't available. Emmanus went out of his way to make sure I had the car the very next day. He used unconventional modes of communication to reach me (text messages), which I REALLY appreciated since I teach night classes at a Local College. He didn't pressure me the way some people would have. I would definitely recommend Metro Honda because of the quality service I received. More

Everyone in the dealership was extremely pleasant and dressed very professionally. Dwight was very helpful and knowledgable on all my questions I had. My situation was a bit diffcult when it came to the financing portion but Dwight & Marcus didn't give up. They got me approved and best of all its in the budget I set for myself. I couldn't thank them enough for everything they did for me. I will tell everyone to go to Metro Honda. More
I went here to buy a new accord. The sales person was ok, they knew the product and was able to answer most of my questions. He was persistent but not to pushy. My problems started with the Finance departmen they knew the product and was able to answer most of my questions. He was persistent but not to pushy. My problems started with the Finance department. They we slow, kept me waiting for a long time. Had to keep going back and fort. Tried to sell me stuff that I didn't want. After over an hour and half of this I just gave up and went elsewhere. It didn't seem like it was busy so I felt that I was being jerked around. More
The worst experience of buying a new car. It seems like a total scam now..They fix you up on the price but that is not what they sell you the car for. They add bunch of other - service contracts, etch upgrad total scam now..They fix you up on the price but that is not what they sell you the car for. They add bunch of other - service contracts, etch upgrades, down payment protection..linking them to your credit approval..and this can go up to an additional $3000. As someone said before, they hurry up through the documentation and you don't get the time to read every word of it. In my case, they did not give me the papers until a month as they convinced me that they will fetch me the best interest rate on the loan and send me the papers. Make sure you read every word of the document you sign..do not ever trust these scamsters. You have the right to deny any additional service contracts or protection..as these are completely voluntary and are not required to obtain more favorable terms of credit. More
Please do yourself a favor and find another dealer for your repair or maintenance jobs. On 24th December 2010, I had taken my 2006 Honda Accord to Metro Honda because my turn signals were not working. your repair or maintenance jobs. On 24th December 2010, I had taken my 2006 Honda Accord to Metro Honda because my turn signals were not working. A $23 part called turn signal flasher relay solved the problem. But the service advisor, Juan Gallego conned me into unnecessary and over-priced repairs totaling over a thousand dollar. Yes, I got fooled by the dealership and I present below how: 1) For replacing the $23 flasher relay, the dealership charged me around $140 in labor on 29th December. I had to come back because the part was not in stock on 24th December. Later, I called another Honda dealership who quoted me $51 in labor charges for replacing the flasher relay. 2) The dealer charged me $150 for replacing the battery in my car - $108 in battery cost and $42 labor for putting the battery in. The $42 charge for placing the battery is exorbitant and the battery cost itself is too high. I am staring at a coupon from another dealership for $90 for 100 month battery replacement. Moreover, my battery was fine to begin with. I just had a coupon for checking the battery for free and therefore I asked for it. However, I got conned by Juan Gallego as he told me that my battery was so weak that my car would need a jump start to get out of the shop. 3) On 12th October 2009, I had taken my car to this dealership. At that time, they recommended that my rear brakes needed to be replaced and quoted my $290 for it. Then, I was smart and ignored their recommendation. During the current visit on December 24th 2010, they recommended $70 for rear brake adjustments. This goes to show that they were recommending a totally unnecessary repair on 12th October 2009. This time they made it up by charging me $280 for front brakes. Before getting fooled by Juan, I did say that I could get my front brakes done at less than half their cost at Pep Boys, so why should I get the job done at the dealership. The way Juan conned me into it was by saying that Pep Boys would put cheap Chinese brakes while the dealer would put genuine Honda brakes. However, later I found out that the cost of the part was only $69, while the dealer charged me $211 in labor alone - a total con game. 4) Likewise they charged me $200 for some emission service which I don't even know what it was for and whether it was really necessary. The only reason I got conned this time was because I just had a baby. I was planning of buying a new minivan from Metro Honda. However, now I know that I will not be buying it from Metro Honda. More
