I requested an e-quote on a 2013 CRV/EX from several dealers and Metro got right back. Gave me a fair price and followed up. When we entered the dealership the sales person Ron Manuel greeted us warmly. He presented the facts on the car I was looking for and he then took us for a road test. Jersey City dealers/sales reps have a bad reputation, but John Lizares of Metro Honda is an exception. I was greeted with a friendly, yet professional approach that made me feel comfortable from the start. John Lizares of Metro Honda is an exception. I was greeted with a friendly, yet professional approach that made me feel comfortable from the start. I told John that I wanted to test drive the Honda CR-Z. Luckily, a new one just came off the truck that very day. We had some small talk and discussed why I was interested in the CR-Z. I had to find out how much I loved it, and he never pushed me to talk numbers right away and didn't steer me in another direction. That gets annoying with sales reps. We took the car for a test drive and I could sense the genuineness of his demeanor. He was hopeful that I would love the car, but at the same time he wasn't looking to trap me. When we were done with the test drive, I told him that I didn't feel comfortable talking numbers and that I would re-evaluate if I wanted to move forward. I hadn't exactly fallen in love with only 2 seats in my car. So we exchanged contact information, and I left Metro Honda with a surprising experience from a Jersey City business!!!
