I returned to Metro Honda in Jersey City, NJ to trade-in my Mercedes Benz and get a Honda Accord. I knew what I wanted. Mike Brooks met me at the door. I was adamant in staying within my price range otherwise I told Mike Brooks, I would remain with my Mercedes. Well Mike was a man of his word. We set up an appointment date for later in the week. He worked out a deal for me within my designated price range. He was courteous. Worked hard. Helped me transition from the Mercedes to the Honda with ease. He could give our U.S. Congressional Representatives a few lessons. We worked out a deal and for the first time in a long time visit to a dealership, I feel like we both got a good deal. Bought a car in 2010 (it was a year old) from Metro Honda. Two weeks later, it was in the service department because water was leaking directly into the passenger side of the car. Metro honda had my car for 3 weeks the first time they attempted to repair it. After the 3 weeks I got my car back and the same problem kept occurring. After 4 attempts at "fixing" it, they told me they couldn't figure out the problem and that it wasn't leaking, even though I showed the service department the puddle of water on my passenger mat prior to leaving the car for service. I got my car back a couple of days later and Miraculously, the leaking hasn't occurred since. (Then again, it is still winter, so I'm anxious to see what happens in the summer when I turn my A/C on again). Now (4 months later), I'm having what sounds/feels like transmission issue. Called and told them the issue I was having and also told them that I would need a loaner car (my plan covers it) They said don't have any available until "maybe next week", and that they only have 5 loaners available. METRO HONDA IS THE WORST at solving issues or making service easy. I would NEVER AGAIN buy a car or recommend this dealer to my worst enemy. I'd rather buy a car from someone off the street then ever give this dealer my business again. *side note: On the 2nd attempt to fix the leaking water problem, my front mats (which were brand new and replaced during the 1st attempt at fixing the leaking situation) were removed and replaced with old, beat-up mats, with rips/tears in them. I complained and received new ones. This dealership can't be trusted. DON'T SHOP HERE!!!!! GO TO ROUTE 22 HONDA IN UNION, NJ! BETTER DEALS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! More
