Bought a car in 2010 (it was a year old) from Metro Honda. Two weeks later, it was in the service department because water was leaking directly into the passenger side of the car. Metro honda had my car for 3 weeks the first time they attempted to repair it. After the 3 weeks I got my car back and the same problem kept occurring. After 4 attempts at "fixing" it, they told me they couldn't figure out the problem and that it wasn't leaking, even though I showed the service department the puddle of water on my passenger mat prior to leaving the car for service. I got my car back a couple of days later and Miraculously, the leaking hasn't occurred since. (Then again, it is still winter, so I'm anxious to see what happens in the summer when I turn my A/C on again). Now (4 months later), I'm having what sounds/feels like transmission issue. Called and told them the issue I was having and also told them that I would need a loaner car (my plan covers it) They said don't have any available until "maybe next week", and that they only have 5 loaners available. METRO HONDA IS THE WORST at solving issues or making service easy. I would NEVER AGAIN buy a car or recommend this dealer to my worst enemy. I'd rather buy a car from someone off the street then ever give this dealer my business again. *side note: On the 2nd attempt to fix the leaking water problem, my front mats (which were brand new and replaced during the 1st attempt at fixing the leaking situation) were removed and replaced with old, beat-up mats, with rips/tears in them. I complained and received new ones. This dealership can't be trusted. DON'T SHOP HERE!!!!! GO TO ROUTE 22 HONDA IN UNION, NJ! BETTER DEALS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE! More

I am recommending this dealership because of how cooperative their employees were when we were buying our new car. I requested an e-quote on a 2013 CRV/EX from several dealers and Metro got right back. Gave me a fair price and followed up. She kept her word on the price that I was quoted and found me the color that I wanted. I had a particular need to rush the DMV paperwork and she got me everything on time. I walked out of the dealership ecstatic about my purchase and at peace with my decision to purchase the car. I definitely did not experience any feelings of being taken advantage of (which was what I was worried about starting this process). DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM METRO HONDA!!! Bottom line, these guys are absolute crooks. I went in to discuss the purchase of a new CR-V and was quoted a price. Two days later I returned to purchase the v these guys are absolute crooks. I went in to discuss the purchase of a new CR-V and was quoted a price. Two days later I returned to purchase the vehicle, was again quoted the same price, signed a pricing sheet and paid a $5000 down payment. After handing over my down payment, securing insurance for the vehicle, and signing a ton of paperwork, they kept me waiting for more than 2 HOURS without word. I have a credit score above 800 (about as good as it gets), long-time reliable payment history on a student loan, and nevertheless, was told that the financing rate of 3.9% that had originally been a "guarantee" due to my high credit score, was not available because I didn't have a mortgage or other "large loan, like a car" (despite the fact that my student loans were five times higher than a car loan and I had paid this monthly, on time, for six years). I was forced into a higher interest rate and was angry. After being told I would have to accept the higher interest rate, Madison Miranda, the financing rep, rushed me through the financial documents, including the financing agreement. Without explaining anything and standing over my shoulder making sure I signed everything, I later learned that they not only jacked up the sticker price of the car by $2,000 in these papers without telling me, but also signed me up for a service contract that was worth almost another $2,000 that I had told them unequivocally that I did not want. My loan was therefore almost $4,000 than I negotiated or anticipated, and did not become clear until my bill came due the following month. I called both the dealer and Honda America several times to attempt to rectify the problem was essentially shown the door and told that the financing agreement superseded anything else I signed and to take the matter up with the NJ Attorney General. These people basically stole thousands of dollars and had absolutely no conscience about it. I won't even take my car here to get serviced and hope they are forced out of business for their predatory sales tactics. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!! More
