I had met him a year ago just looking around and he said whenever I was ready to just let him know. He was very receptive and knowledgeable to all my questions, comments, concerns and he helped me get my new 2014 CRV and I love it! I was very happy with the whole process overall from looking at all the cars in the lot to doing all the paperwork and we got the deal done! He said he would take care of me and he did. He's not the typical pushy salesperson and I felt that he just wanted to make sure that I was happy with whichever car I wanted and how we could get the deal done. It's my 3rd time buying a car at Metro Honda 440 and I've always had a great experience there and I will go back again for my next car. Thank you Henry and everyone there! And Happy New Year! More
I normally don't write online reviews but my experience compels me to take the time to share. This is my 5th new Honda purchase (4 Odysseys, 1 Pilot -- plus our kids' nanny also purchased their experience compels me to take the time to share. This is my 5th new Honda purchase (4 Odysseys, 1 Pilot -- plus our kids' nanny also purchased their CRV) from Horacio and Metro Honda. My family has since moved to NH 3 years ago and I still make the trek to NJ for our family vehicles. Some say I'm crazy to do so, but that's because they haven't worked with Horacio and the team there. I'm a "car guy" and have purchased cars from many brand dealerships, but rarely does one come across such a thoughtful and professional individual. Horacio worked patiently with me through my and my wife's vacillations between the Touring (LaneWatch side camera) vs. the Touring Elite (vacuum but no side mirror camera) and, respectively, smoky topaz vs. white. He texted me photos and videos of the van while probably working with his other customers. When I planned to drive down to NJ to make the choice, he arranged for both vehicles to be prepped and parked out front to save me time, and held off the dealership from putting one in the showroom because he knows I don't like buying cars that have been in the showroom. AND to top it off, he simultaneously worked with Honda Financial and the managers at Metro to forgive my very high mileage overage on my prior Odyssey's lease, while still giving me a truly competitive price on the vehicle that makes online car-buying services seem unnecessary. Horacio and team understand the value of long-term customer loyalty - and because of this, it actually makes me feel "obliged" (happily) to not look elsewhere. He even stayed late last night at the risk of being late to his son's basketball game to make sure all the paperwork was completed as he structured. There's a reason his wall is filled with sales achievement plaques. Thanks once again, Horacio and Metro - you guys instill loyalty and make a complex process painless, and this customer clearly appreciates that. More
Last weekend, me and my family went to Metro Honda in search for a family car. We were assisted by Mr. Henry Ong. Mr. Henry Ong assisted us with payment options and helped us on how we can save money with our new vehicle. He gave us a great deal. My dad is so happy.Mr. Henry Ong made sure that we know how to properly drive and operate our new Honda Pilot before we drive it home. Mr. Ong made follow up calls to make sure that we are not having any problems driving our new Honda pilot. The day before I had an unpleasant experience at two dealerships that took up my whole day.They refused to work with me and tried to sell me something I didn't want! I was extremely annoyed at this. That night when I returned home I did research on another car that I was interested in (Honda CRV) and decided to head over to Metro Honda the next day. The next day I prayed on it and went in. Upon entering I talked with the receptionist then Mr. Henry Ong came by. We greeted each other then went on to discuss what I was looking for. As we were heading out to see the vehicle, I saw one in the showroom. I checked it out and loved it! Shortly after we took one on for a test drive. When we returned it was down to business! Mr. Ong was very helpful. It took us quite some time to work out what I wanted, however, he broke down the numbers and provided me with many options. In the end we worked it out and I went home with my new car! More
We went to Metro Honda to purchase a Honda Civic on October 26th. We settled on getting the EX-L and was told that the MSRP for the car is $24,000. When we asked why the MSRP is much higher than what October 26th. We settled on getting the EX-L and was told that the MSRP for the car is $24,000. When we asked why the MSRP is much higher than what is listed on Honda website, Billy Kavaleiratos explained to us that the $24,000 includes the destination charge, which is $790, and the accessory package that is worth $1,000. We negotiated the price down to $21000 and Billy Kavaleiratos told us that the car will be available by Monday. We paid the deposit for the car and did the paperwork. Come Monday, Billy Kavleiratos left us a message and said that he located the car, but this one has a different accessory package on it and we would have to pay an additional $275 on top of the price that we originally agreed. It’s unbelievable that a dealership can take your deposit for the car that they said they have in the inventory and turn around and said that they don’t have it and ask the customer to pay more to get whatever car they have now. First of all, the car that we negotiated had an accessory package that is worth $1000 (or so as they claimed it is worth) so one must wonder what kind of accessory that this new car has that would cost $1275. When we asked what is included in the accessory package, we were told that this car has the trunk tray, mud guard, and the wheel lock. We looked up the price for these 3 and at most, the parts cost less than $300. So why would we have to pay an additional $275 on top of the $1000 we already paid for accessory? We would love to get an explanation for that. We asked Billy and his manager to fax us a list of the accessories that will be included in the $1000 accessory package and they said they will do it right away. The conversation took place at 10am. By 2pm, nothing came. Called and left Billy a voicemail asking him to let us know what is going on. By 4pm, still nothing came. No fax, no phone call, not a single explanation. We called the dealer again and asked to speak to either Billy or his manager. We were told that both of them have customers and cannot take our phone call. This is Wednesday, 4 days after we left the deposit for the car….still no car, no phone call, no explanation from the dealership. What a great service that they have there at Metro Honda! More
