The warmth welcome and friendliness of the salesperson made us stay and look for a car. We told him our situation - stable job , a trade in car but has credit problem. Before we started , we even stated t made us stay and look for a car. We told him our situation - stable job , a trade in car but has credit problem. Before we started , we even stated that we are looking for just a simple car nothing fancy and is fuel efficient and we can afford monthly payment. Salesperson said he can help us with a better price and he will do his best to do it even if he only makes a little commission. He just want to help us. I was happy about that. We chose a Honda Fit with MSRP of $16,915 base model. Salesperson said do not worry about the price because he can work on that but we just need to be approve of the loan first. Here comes the part where the sales manager came in to start negotiating with us as far as the down payment besides the trade in . Not sure if he was a sales manager, still new and do not even have a card yet. I kept asking for the price that they will give us and the salesperson , Casey said that he can ask if he can discount us $800.00 from the MSRP price because I wanted to see the invoice price. He keeps on telling us not to worry because even if he makes only $50.00 , it will be ok because he didn't do good last month and we are helping each other. Before we finalized everything, I said that we will go home first and just come back the next day. We came in at the dealership at around 3 pm and I only had 2 pieces of cheese sticks and it was already 11 pm by the time we go to finance. I wanted to go home because we couldn't even drive the car, couldn't see at night and I do not have my glasses with me . The 2 guys said do not worry and they will drive the cars ( we decided to buy 2 cars just to help the salesperson too - Price is the main issue here) It was almost midnight when we were already signing papers. Just signed because I told them I couldn't see. And they drove the 2 cars to our house. The trade in truck was still at the house and they said someone will come by to pick it up and show us the features of the car and how to operate it. The next day, with my glasses, I saw the PRICE on the form is $16,995.00 - EVEN MORE THAN THE MSRP. NO DISCOUNT AND HIGHER THAN THE LIST PRICE. I called people to question it - salesperosn, manager, finance manager, general manager and told them the whole story. No one even came by to pick up the trade in until 2 days after. I told them the following day that I felt like we were cheated and taken advantage of the situation. The dealership said since we already have the cars, we need to see a lawyer if we want to return them. More
Worst experience at a car dealer ever last night. Sales rep at first was Sunday. He was helpful and polite. But then mid-transactin he handed us off to some pop-star wanna be guy who could barely put a s rep at first was Sunday. He was helpful and polite. But then mid-transactin he handed us off to some pop-star wanna be guy who could barely put a sentence together. Then when that didn't work, he handed us off to Ben, who commenced to talking to us like we were his servants and showed a total and complete disrespect for the fact that we were the customer and his job was to sell us a service!! It was the most nutty car buying experience ever. Maybe since we weren't dropping big money on a new car, they just weren't all that interested. I would never shop here again. More
Was very pleased with our salesman David Salem. He verbally quoted a price to us over the phone that we were happy with. He asked us to come down in about 1 hour. We got there and David was no where verbally quoted a price to us over the phone that we were happy with. He asked us to come down in about 1 hour. We got there and David was no where to be found. The manager left us sitting for 20 minutes. When we got up to leave he hurried over and sent my husband off with a different salesman to find the car. He sat me down and tried to get me to agree to a price that was over $2,000 more than what was quoted to us by David. We walked out and they let us go. David never even called to try to get us back in to close the deal. We bought else where. More
I had a terrible experience with this dealership. I went in with my girlfriend to trade in my chevy 4x4 with a blue book of $9,000. The saleman and I talked about the trade in and he took the offer to the s in with my girlfriend to trade in my chevy 4x4 with a blue book of $9,000. The saleman and I talked about the trade in and he took the offer to the sales manager. The sales manager came down after the first offer. I have bought many vehicles and this is the first time a sales manager has come down after the first offer. He talked to me like I was a little child and talked down to me like I was stupid. He tried to tell me he couldn't sell my truck on his dealership. I told him I have done my research, I know you guys sale certain vehicles to used car dealerships. He began to argue with me. I am 43 years old, I have been around and this ass of a sales manager wanted to give me $800 for my trade in. With the gas prices and my drive of 120 miles round trip to work, I needed a fuel economy car. At the end I was given $2,500 for my truck. I should of left the dealership. My girlfriend saw how the sales manager acted and how Metro Honda was a bunch of asses. I told the sales manager to leave and go to his office, i will talk to the saleman who is the professional here. We went at it for a while. My girlfriend thought I was going to knock him out. To make this long story short. My girlfriend and her daughter went to PENSKE HONDA after my torture experience at Metro Honda. Penske treated us great, and great prices on their vehicles and trade in. We bought two Honda from PENSKE HONDA. I will never go through an experience like that again, because I will never go to Metro Honda again. Also I learned I should of just walked out. Penske Honda is awesome and treat you like a person. We have 3 Honda and my family has 4 Honda's. We will only go to PENSKE HONDA for our cars. NEVER GO TO METRO HONDA. I hope this helps at least one person looking for a Honda. More
