Adolfo Mena from the sales department went above and beyond to make my visit there great. He is very professional and knows the importance of customer service and communicating with his customers and ke beyond to make my visit there great. I purchased a truck from Metro Ford Miami from Julio (salesman) and Jesus (general sales manager). I was unaware they made this trim Sierra in 2wd. I came in to purchase a pre owned GMC Sierra 25 (salesman) and Jesus (general sales manager). I was unaware they made this trim Sierra in 2wd. I came in to purchase a pre owned GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali. When I went into the F & I office I asked Ricardo, the Finance Manager assisting me who confirmed it was 4wd and he said yes. I went through the truck with Sheldon and Julio before this and they didn't tell me anything about the truck. I made the mistake unfortunately of trusting the people working in the dealer instead of double checking myself. Upon leaving the dealer I went to the gas station to put diesel in my new truck only to realize it was not a 4x4. I went right back to the dealership and I was told that I was not able to return the vehicle? The time elapsed in this process was 30-45 mins of me leaving the dealer. I shouldn't have even made it to that gas station because I was told by the salesman that I would have a full tank of diesel which he later informed me (after the deal was closed) that management only approved a quarter tank of fuel as I was getting in the truck to leave. I also spoke to the General Sales Manager Jesus, he and I were arguing in the middle of the showroom as if I am at fault for buying the truck that his management team told me was a 4x4. He kept pointing out that the vehicle said it was 2wd on the website, which I never once used to inquire about the truck. He told me it was not possible to return this truck even after 30 mins of purchasing it. It was a Saturday and I know that my deal was NOT sent to the bank for funding so I know there was a window for him to make it right. I had an oversight in the buying process that I relied on the employees at the dealership to be honest and help me through before the purchase. I got the opposite experience and was told that he can’t help me and that it is not his problem. When Jesus told me he questioned Ricardo on bringing up the truck being 4x4 he said that Ricardo said he didn't know if the truck was 4wd. The paperwork that said 2wd and Chevrolet instead of GMC 4x4 was where I brought up the issue. In reality he said “yes it is 4wd” when I asked him why the paperwork stated 2wd. He then I assumed fixed it but I was lied to so I am not sure what he did differently in the paperwork. In my small business I need 4wd to pull large boats out of the boat ramp so I dont go slipping backwards and submerge the vehicle underwater due to the weight of the boats I move. I say this to make the point that a 2wd drive truck is useless for my business and I find it absurd to say that if I heard the finance manager say he doesn't know if the truck is 4wd and the paperwork said 2wd then I would just proceed and not check the truck. I was told that the truck is 4wd by the employee at the dealer and as a Ford certified dealer I thought I could trust the employees. I got no resolution from this situation and have emailed the General Manager who ignored my email. I would not recommend this dealer. More
