In the past I have leased and finance two vehicles respectively from this dealership. I have never had issues with the salesmen that I have dealt with. This review rating is for the service and parts departments. They are laid back people who simply don't give a xxxx about customers. In the past when I would need an oil change or tire rotation I would have to make an appointment and wait at least 2 weeks. I used to be so frustrated and annoyed! And this was with the same cars I leased and financed from them. Fast forward to Monday, August 10th. I took my 2015 dodge challenger to service. A technician drove it and determined that it needed a drive shaft. The drive shaft was ordered that day and I was told that I had to wait 2 weeks. My frustration level increased immediately! After almost 2 weeks I called and checked on the status of the drive shaft. Someone in parts told me it will arrive on Thursday, August 27th. When I checked again on Monday, August 24th, I was told by someone in parts that it will not be in until September 2nd! Are you kidding me!!! I am waiting now about 3 weeks for an AMERICAN part for an AMERICAN car in AMERICA in 2020!!!!! I decided to involve chrysler corporate, but that was totally useless. I don't know what's the point of dealing with corporate in these matters!!! I decided to take my car to a drive shaft shop who will do the work much sooner and for much cheaper!!!! Except for sales, don't deal with service or parts. They are incompetent, mediocre folks who are too laid back and couldn't care less how long you have to wait to get satisfaction with your vehicle!!!! Three weeks for a part!!!! This must be 1950 or some xxxx!!!!! More
I have leased 3 vehicles consecutively from Mike V. at Merrick Dodge. Unfortunately, the last experience showed me what a liar and xxxx of a salesman he is. We made a deal to turn in my Ram early and get Merrick Dodge. Unfortunately, the last experience showed me what a liar and xxxx of a salesman he is. We made a deal to turn in my Ram early and get into a Jeep. Mike agreed to pay the final payment and dispo fee to make the deal happen. About three months later I got a certified letter from lease company because it was never paid. After, chasing Mike and the manager around for a month they assured me they paid the bill. A year later when getting ready to close on my house the mortgage company informed me that the bill was never paid and I had a hit on my credit. It was at this point that Mike really started with the crazy lies - "the files in the attic", "the boss is sick", "I have it on my desk first thing tomorrow" after three weeks I went into the dealership where Mike lied to the owner and said it was never agreed too. Luckily for me I had the screen shots of every text back and forth where he assured immediate it would be paid in full. Long story More

My family has bought 5 vehicles from you in the past year and you disrespectful bullxxxxters cant do what you promised... my ram had problems from day one with the back up grids they said no problem we will take care of it. 6 months and they still havent done anything not to mention it was suppose to be certified but the front end shakes violently at highway speeds but alfrado said they didmt have time to check it so we had to travel with the front end shaking. i called again yesterday alfrado again said he would get right back to me... 2 days later nothing... i am totally disgusted... No ones word means anything anymore... and we actually had traveled from upstate to buy another car from these con artist... More

I was a loyal customer of westbury Jeep, went in to purchase my 5th car and was rudely turned away by their “receptionist.” Walked into merrick Jeep at 5:30 on a Friday night and within two minutes I was in Rich’s office. He treated us kindly, efficiently, Genuinely, and we made a friend! Was in and out in 30 minutes and got exactly what I wanted and exactly what I asked for! Picked up my amazing 2020 jeep grand limited on Monday afternoon! Seamless process. Gabriella was efficient with all of my financials and paperwork, rich was ready and waiting and Tom saved me a bunch of money on my car insurance! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! If you go there for service do not deal with Dan he will rip you off if he can . More
Since 2016 I have ONLY shopped anything Mopar here, at Merrick CJDR. Over that time I have personally bought 5 Jeep vehicles, all being fully loaded Rubicon top of the line Jeeps. On top of that my broth Merrick CJDR. Over that time I have personally bought 5 Jeep vehicles, all being fully loaded Rubicon top of the line Jeeps. On top of that my brother has purchased a similar loaded Rubicon and my sister has purchased two vehicles here. Outside of my immediate family I have sent over 100 customers, referrals that PURCHASED vehicles. Almost daily I am advocating for this dealer online and sending strangers here to get a fair deal. TODAY THAT ENDS! Just over a month ago when negotiating ANOTHER deal I had my trade in appraised. A 2019 Jeep Wrangler with well over $15,000 in aftermarket accessories on it, I am well aware I will never see that money I put in back and the manager made that clear. The exact message was that 40” tires do not increase the trade in value, in fact they make it harder to resell for the dealer. No problem, upon trade, there were no 40” tires (which there were only 4 of...no spare) and I am now being charged over $2,300 to purchase new tires for this dealership. Over my years of loyalty to this dealer I have never once met or heard from a manager, I was never thanked for my business and I was never compensated for referrals which is common practice in the car business. ZERO CUSTOMER LOYALTY AT MERRICK CJDR...NONE Let it be known that my salesmen Bryan is a great salesmen, fair and honest, he always does the right thing by myself and everyone I send in. I will pay this absolutely absurd wheel bill to help out Bryan, but I will also go out of my way to make sure this costs Merrick CJDR exponentially more in loss of customers, my family being the first customers to turn their backs. A major car dealer harassing easily one of their most loyal customers over $2,300. 2020, what a time to be alive. More
WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER! Leased a 2017 Grand Cherokee and finally it's out of my hands! They refused to fix the car on a weekend and I work 9-5 Monday to Friday. They wouldn't even offer me a loaner so I could've dropped the car off before work. We had tried to contact the service manager after my last service which was for an oil change and tire rotation. I also had a small nail in the tire so they patched it for me. After leaving the lot, the low tire pressure warning came on and the pressure kept decreasing. I went back to the dealer and the service tech forgot to put the plug back on. I was in the dealer for 3 hours for this service. The service manager couldn't be bothered...look elsewhere! More

I have AAA and asked if I could have them bring the truck in, and was told they would "send it away" I have bought several vehicles at this Dealer, but that will never happen again! More
