DON’T purchase a car without title in hand or at least get a vehicle history report before signing any paperwork. The car I purchased had a lien on the title and received NO assistance from all the fake managers I spoke with. No returned calls from general manager and constantly told that I had to call my bank to get this matter resolved. I purchased the car from you so why am I responsible for getting the title cleared? Finally, after 90 days the title was cleared while the car sat in my garage for over 30 days without tags to drive it. No 30 day warranty as promised and had to spend a few thousand dollars for repair. READ the paperwork before signing or better yet don’t go to this side dealership at all. You may think you’re getting a good deal but you’re not. More

Eddie a salesperson asked me when I would like to see it and I said I would come up on Saturday May 13th. Drove from Lynchburg to Arlington and didn't see the car after I got there so I asked to see Eddie. He was nice and asked if I knew the stock number for the vehicle which I thought was odd. After a few minutes he came back and said that the car wasn't there. I asked him where it was and he said it was at the shop. Then he wanted to show me 2010 LS with more miles. I was upset so I left but called back to speak to the manager Walter. Melissa another salesperson took my info and said that Walter would call back. Which he never did. Later that day I got a email from Eddie asking if I was still interested in the car. I called back on Monday asking to speak to Walter. He was coming in later that day. I called back and Melissa said that the 2009 LS 460 L had been sold but she took my info again. Still haven't heard from Walter but the 2009 Lexus LS 460 L is still listed on the website. If you see a car on their website and you want to contact them you've been warned! More
If I could give a negative 0 stars I really would I will continue to post and write a review on EVERY site available, as I have just read so many already posted reviews with similar issues to mines, a I will continue to post and write a review on EVERY site available, as I have just read so many already posted reviews with similar issues to mines, as well as the good ones but when it comes to buying a car the bad out weighs the good. because I was definitely sold a lemon too, and I see the owner takes time out to respond to each review with excuses but instead of the owner responding back to this, be professional and email me so we can keep a record of how you choose to respond to this bad review... or of all the times I have called I have NEVER been referred to you, nor have you called to address these issues! Your too busy responding to reviews online, I guess to handle your complaints face to face! NO NO AND NO! I would not recommend or refer ANYONE to go to this dealer!!!!! I purchased a 2010 Mercedes truck, and found out before 30 days were up the thermostat had to be replaced! They sent me to "their" mechanic to get it checked out and fixed, only to tell me I was going to be responsible for paying half of the 580.00 and they would pay the other half ( keep in mind, it hadn't even been 30 days after I left the lot) took it to benz to get a full inspection and found out the battery had NEVER been replaced since 2010 and needed a new battery and the service light came on, for oil change and other things, (this was also done within the first 30 days) It's so sooooooooo soooooooooo much more! But I don't even want to waste the energy, however I will sharhave dealt with Sean, Steve, Walter for assistance with all my issues, ask over and over to speak with the OWNER OR MANAGER BUT was told by Sean, "neither one wanted to talk to me!" Also spoke with Melissa today and I honestly thank her for all that she has done bc she would be the only person that actually took the time to listen, and explain to me everything I'm experiencing is not my fault(oh because, not to mention I'm still waiting for hard tags after 2 months) and that's clearly out of my control, checked with the DMV several times, only for them to tell me the VIN #is not in the system so the dealer never sent the paperwork and she has assured me she will make sure to handle things moving forward as much as she can help, so that I do not continue to get the run around and brushed off as I have from everyone else! I read these reviews before going to this dealership, believing I would have this, "all around GREAT buying experience" but I that was NOT TRUE AT ALL! And honestly, I wish Melissa was the manager and/or owner of this establishment, she is VERY Professional and understands what it takes to display GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will never go to a "off the side of the road" dealership EVER AGAIN!!!! Melissa again, I THANK YOU for your help and most of all your HONESTY!!! More

Car exceptionally clean, however, the administrative process left me severely annoyed. 1) Very disorganized when it comes to paperwork. Tried several times to get my title in order to purchase tags from the DMV. No one seem to know where my title is. They gave me a number to call (a sister dealership) who told me they didn't have it and to call back to the dealership I purchased the car from for it. The dealership told me to call the credit union. The credit union said the dealers is suppose to mail the title to me. I called the sister dealership back and the tag person would not take my call. In addition, they have a sign when you walk in the door $999 processing fee, not negotiable. Plus, they charge a $500 prep fee. I regret dealing with them. In addition, they tell you they will give you a 90 day warranty, however, all the paperwork will say "As Is." they want to you sign. When I asked about the 90 day warranty, they tired to change the subject or double talk over it. More
This is the worst experience I've ever had buying a car! They are HORRIBLE!" AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. Any and all they promised is not true. All cars are as is. Absolutely no warranty on anything, even if you They are HORRIBLE!" AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. Any and all they promised is not true. All cars are as is. Absolutely no warranty on anything, even if you spend 50k on a vehicle, you are on your own. They don't want you to read the paperwork before you sign it. Best friends until you drive out of the lot, then you will get hung up on , verbally mistreated, potentially threatened, intimidation tactics and god knows what else. I have no idea how do they stay in business with such a bad reputation. At this rate, its only a matter of time before they get sued and shut down. Advise to management ; YOU NEED A COMPLETE MANAGEMENT OVERHAUL. Salesmen need training in USA customer relations. If this is a Family own business, the HEAD OF THE FAMILY need to get involved ASAP. *Do NOT ignore a bad review. That review won't be going away any time soon. It will be seen by countless consumers researching dealerships in your area. Lack of response signals a disregard for customer care. *Speak to your employee(s) that dealt with the customer. Determine what may have caused this customer to walk away less than satisfied. *If possible, use the opportunity to re-open communication with the consumer. Devise a calm response that addresses all of customer's complaints. If there were mistakes made, acknowledge them. *Don't berate the customer for omitting information or being less than truthful. Essentially, if they have tossed insults, don't return them in kind. Turn the other cheek and respond with any information you feel is pertinent in a calm, respectful manner. Negative dealership reviews give positive reviews credibility. And your dealership's thoughtful response to both good and bad reviews will demonstrate that your business cares for its customers, even when they aren't easy to please. More
Worst Auto purchase ever! Stay away from this dealer... Me and my husband saw a BMW we thought was a good fit for me on CarGurus app. So we got on the highway and I test drove Stay away from this dealer... Me and my husband saw a BMW we thought was a good fit for me on CarGurus app. So we got on the highway and I test drove a 2006 BMW 760 LI on June 31,2016. The car drove fine that day. But I should have known something was up with the vehicle because it was not displayed on the lot. They claimed they just purchased the car so why not have it on the lot. Instead it was in a parking garage across the street from the dealer. Anyway at that time the car drove fine, so I thought. The next day me and my husband came back to purchase the car, July 1, 2016. We live 2 hours away from Merlex Auto Group but took the time both days back to back to get this BMW 760 LI, we thought was a good car. So we do the paperwork and while we doing the paperwork the Lot attendant and the Saleswoman take the car to get gas. We had finished the long process of purchasing a vehicle, signing several pieces of paper, before they even got back. Which was strange. The gas station they said was right up the street. But it took them what seemed like forever. Then when they do come back I proceeded to go get in car to leave to go home, thinking everything is ok. But before I could get in car, the saleswoman insisted that I write a review about my experience with her before I leave. It felt weird because of how persistent she was about it. I told her I do write reviews and I would soon as I got home. So I proceeded to get in the vehicle to follow my husband back home, which is 2 hours away, I remind you. As soon as I drive off the lot and turn the corner, the car jumps and the transmission check light comes on. I have to call my husband and tell him to pull over just a block away from Merlex Auto Group, the dealer I brought the vehicle from, and just 5 minutes from leaving the lot. So understandably, we are both very upset and turn around and go back to Merlex Auto Group to talk to Walter, the manager. Well he refused to talk to us stating he was eating lunch and did not want to be interrupted. But we just brought this car from you less than 10 minutes ago and its having transmission problems already. And nobody else at Merlex Auto Group would talk to us. The saleswoman was upset. She said she don't do business like that and said she was quitting. Which I found out months later that she did quit the week after they sold me that lemon. Anyway so my husband drives the car back to our city, 2 hours away and I follow him. We drove it straight to our local BMW dealership. They looked at it, did a diagnostic test on it and told us that the transmission was bad and needed replacing. We just brought this car. We do have a warranty but the warranty company would not fix it cause they consider it to be a preexisting condition, even though we did not know of the transmission problem when we purchased the vehicle. This vehicle is gonna cost $8,000 to get fixed according to BMW dealership. Money I should not be putting in a vehicle I had just purchased. Several calls were attempted and made to Merlex Auto Group over the pass months but they refused to talk to me, my husband or my Loan officer at my bank until maybe a few weeks ago when my Loan officer tried again to call. They gave him the run around. I have not driven that car but once. The car has been sitting, parked every since July 5 , 2016 after leaving the BMW dealership. It does not move due to the faulty transmission. So now I'm stuck paying a car note, insurance and personal property taxes for a car that doesn't run. I'm trying to warn all future customers to stay away from Merlex Auto Group. More
