My sales representative went above and beyond to make my deal go smoothly. However, I did not receive a copy of my sales agreement, and none of my paystubs, driver's license, proof of insurance, or proof of deal go smoothly. However, I did not receive a copy of my sales agreement, and none of my paystubs, driver's license, proof of insurance, or proof of residence were sent to the loan company. So I had to send it all myself. The manager called me yesterday and promised to send the car paperwork, but never sent anything. I am very disappointed; this could have forced me to return the car, and that's not good business. More

We were told yes so we took the 2 over drive down only to be told the car was no longer available. But they had another one. Over all condition of the car was ok but had high mikes and wasn’t the yr I wanted. Next scam came when we sat down to talk price. We were told they display the “whole sale price” on the website and in order for them to make any money there is a 8k fee they add on top. Classic bait and switch. They list cars they don’t have available with prices the have no intention of selling at just to lure you in the door. Their office is the most unprofessional place I’ve ever entered. That should have been our first clue when we walked in. Lots of side conversations in tightly crammed spaces, no seating for customers, salesmen cussing and yelling at each other or in the phone. It was extremely uncomfortable. Our experience with the GM ( Alberto ) just felt like a game of manipulation. He pulls you in with charm but is unwilling to budge on numbers at all even when they are clearly using illegal tactics to get you in the door. Ultimately we bought a different car from them and while there isn’t major issues wrong with the car I think we both regret it. We left there just feeling icky about it. Like something didn’t feel right about the whole process. We’ll never buy from them again. Oh also we bought our car from them well over a month ago and the car is STILL listed on their website and the price has changed 6x that I’ve seen. 36k,26k,31k,29k and 35k. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. There is some sketchy xxxx happening there. More
Bought a car from Merlex out of state. Unfortunately, once the car was purchased they were done with follow-through, responsibilities and communication. We had a 30-day temporary registration, in which we were obligated to fulfill our end of the bargain - state inspection. Once completed, we were informed there would be an additional $237.00 fee (which we paid) to get the registration taken care of. Lo and behold we had to get a lawyer involved and will finally get our PA registration. When we call, we get put on hold, promised of callbacks that do not happen, and answers of " I don't have time, I just sell cars" from the manager. Professionalism at its best. Do not buy a car from this group if you want any type of follow-through or professionalism. You will only be met with dead ends, excuses and erroneous fees. More
THESE GUYS GIVE USED CAR DEALERS A BAD NAME - EXPECT TO PAY $8000 OVER WHAT THEY SAY IS THE PRICE!!!!! My wife and I flew 500 miles to buy an S-class Mercedes here. We had sent a $500 REFUNDABLE deposit t PAY $8000 OVER WHAT THEY SAY IS THE PRICE!!!!! My wife and I flew 500 miles to buy an S-class Mercedes here. We had sent a $500 REFUNDABLE deposit to be sure it would be there when we arrived. The car had more wear than we wanted, but we looked at the other cars they had and finally found one that we wanted to buy. When we went into the office to close the deal, they suddenly added almost $8000 to the price with 'fees'. The original price they asked was a good price, which according to the internet had a decent profit for them, but when they added $8000 to the deal, that killed it. Their 'closer' showed us the price they supposedly paid (less than their asking price) and it was well over the 'dealer' price on Edmunds. In addition to all this, they tried to keep our refundable deposit - it took some effort to get our money back. More
