My wife and I were very impressed with your dealerhip and its staff. Ou relationship started in December, 2012 when I met Sterlynn and asked for a 2013 catalog. He was very cordial and accommodating. He accepted and respected our decision to hold off buying a car until spring. We made our second ontact with him in March, 2013 and asked if my wife and i could look at a 2013 Sonata to see if it would be a car we would like to consider. Again, he was most accommodating not only in the showroom but also bringing cars in into your service entry to look and try getting in and out of especially since my wife is somewhat handicapped. He also gave us important information concerning features between the basic vs the limited model. At that time we were given the opportunity to test drive the Sonata which up to then I had not driven one. We finally sat down with Sterlynn and Tim Costello and worked out a satisfactory price relating to the new Sonata and our trade. Although they were anxious to complete a deal, they respected our decison to think it over. We did not make our decision until two days later. Our relationship with you dealership, especially Sterlynn and Tim made the process of buying a car an enjoyable experience. As you may know this is not the norm in buying a car. When ever we came into the dealership we were put at ease, We were treated with respect. Our concerns were addressed. An certainly the offer of water, coffee, etc was greatly appreciated. It started out as a trip just for a raffle ticket and ended up with me getting a 2008 Nissan at a great price! I called Meriden Hyundai and spoke to Christine Folcik, the so-called Business Development Manager to try and get some prices for comparison to Brad Benson Hyundai in New Jersey. She gave me the standard the so-called Business Development Manager to try and get some prices for comparison to Brad Benson Hyundai in New Jersey. She gave me the standard television commercial lease price when I asked her what the best they could do was. I told her what my deal at Brad Benson was after speaking with them. She then told me to go to Brad Benson because they are going to add on all of these extra fees and not honor the deal they gave me over the phone. She also asked me where I was going to get the car serviced if I bought from New Jersey, as if it would be impossible to bring the car in to a local Hyundai dealer to have work done. I responded with "Any dealership that I want!" She told me to go to Brad Benson and to bring a cooler filled with waters because they will keep you sitting there and will not care about you and you will be waiting there while it takes hours to get the deal done. Well, she was right with one thing...the deal did not go as expected. When I went to Brad Benson, the deal was 1000 times better than I could have ever imagined and I am soo glad that Christine actually encouraged me to go there and give them my business. The deal was in and out and was well worth an hour and a half drive to pick up the car. In fact, I would make the drive again any day of the week to go back there for the way Brad Benson Hyundai treated us! We even told them what Christine from Meriden, CT had said about them and they said to me "Watch this....because your CT dealers are giving us such a bad rap and bashing us, we are going to show you how we do business here...your 36 month lease is now a 35 month lease! They paid for the first month of my lease out of their pocket and said don't worry about it, it's on us! They also threw in additional opitons that were not discussed in the deal for free such as a remote automatic start and door moldings at no charge and made sure the car had a full tank of gas. They also had a message for Christine and her CT dealership. The message was...and I quote..."STEP UP YOUR GAME!!" They couldn't have been more right! I would NOT recommend Meriden Hyundai or any CT Hyundai dealer for that matter to anyone. If you want to get the best price around, that Meriden could not even come close to and get treated professionally and with respect, which is how people should be treated then go to BRAD BENSON!! You will be amazed! They have over 1200 cars on their lot, where Meriden probably had 60! The service experience, attitude, fast deal, and cars will blow you away. I couldn't believe that Christine, who is the business development manager at Meriden would be so quick to turn business away and not say what she should have said which was...."come to us and we can try and work something out." You mean to tell me that Meriden Hyundai is doing so well and moves so many cars that they could just turn away business and treat people like that??! Well I am so thankful that she did! Thanks again Christine! And everyone else....go to Meriden Hyundai for the highest prices around and not to mention the best, most sarcastic employee on the phone who is doing so well at her dealership that she doesn't care about your money and business! I really could use the sarcasm after a long day of work too! Brad Benson Hyundai...there is no way in the world you could be disappointed after going there. The dealership was unexpectedly busy and I love my new Hyundai Tucson!!!! From the moment my boyfriend and I walked in we were greeted with a smile! The dealership was unexpectedly busy and Haley was called in! She was great! She was so happy to help us! We were so grateful! We knew exactly what we wanted, so got right down to business. Haley did not harrass or pressure us. She was straighforward, along with Jesus and no time was wasted. She was kind, a great sport, and EXTREMELY friendly. She made me feel very comfortable. A great relationship was formed and I will certainly share the great news with family and friends. I will definitely recommend Meriden Hyundai to friends and family and certainly service my new car there. I will also contine to shop with you all! Got me the car I wanted, with the exact options I wanted, and the exact color within a few days. No tricks and gimmicks as far as I can tell. Pretty straightforward.I am not sure I got the best possible price, but based on the research I did, I think I got pretty close. The salesman I worked with was very helpful, straightforward guy, who delivered what he promissed. They did mess up the paperwork by misspelling my name, but they went out of their way to correct it as quickly as possible. And they did correct it. More

This was the first dealer I went to when looking for a new car. Was having trouble deciding between Hyundai and Kia. I scheduled a test drive, and when it was time they gave me the keys and didn't need new car. Was having trouble deciding between Hyundai and Kia. We talked about price and went back and forth a few times, until we reached a price that was fair but I wasn't ready to buy yet, not having driven other car brands. Also the car wasn't on the lot so I didn't feel pressured to jump into the sale. So I went to several other places, had terrible experiences at all of them, and came back to Meriden. After all my bad experiences I was expecting to be lied to, treated poorly, put on hold, but I was pleasantly surprised. We went over the same offer, nothing had changed, and I said OK it's a deal. Left my deposit and was told the car could be here in 3 days. I was skeptical, but then James called me up and it was actually there on time! The car was perfect, they didn't sneak in any extra charges or features, exactly what I asked for. They even had VIN etching on the windows and didn't charge me for it! I met with Mike in finance and he walked me through all the paperwork. I took my time and read everything (this is my first new car) and he was very understanding. Despite all the horror stories I heard from friends and family, the numbers on the PO were penny-for-penny what we agreed on, and everything matched up. I got in my car and they took a picture and waved me off :) I was treated very well and I owe Meriden my thanks for a truly wonderful car buying experience. The whole time the staff was friendly and accommodating, and despite some discomfort with the initial price haggling (unavoidable if you don't want to be an overpaying schmuck!) the entire process was very pleasant. I highly recommend Meriden Hyundai, especially James in sales! More
I have purchased 5 Hyundai autos since 2001 and 4 of them were purchased at Meriden Hyundai. John Bogdan was the salesperson I dealt with for the last 3 purchases and I cannot say enough great things about were purchased at Meriden Hyundai. John is personable, friendly, helpful and works with other staff to get you the best deal possible. John will do his best to make the sale work for you and at the same time he is honest and does not pressure you. Most people dread the car buying "game" but I have always found that John makes it a pleasant, enjoyable experience. I continue to buy Hyundai vehicles for the value and the warranty, but the main reason is for the service I receive at Meriden Hyundai. I always deal with Kathy Cruz as my service advisor and I cannot say enough great things about her. I first met Kathy at another dealership when I owned another brand vehicle and she constantly battled with an extended warranty company to get services covered for my vehicle. Kathy always goes the extra mile for her customers. My dealings at Meriden Hyundai, whether sales or service, have always been exceptional. More
