Merchants was offering credit amnesty. My wife and I had gone through some tough times over the last 5 years medically. Scott was receptive to our problem and got us approved for a 2011 vehicle with low mil gone through some tough times over the last 5 years medically. Scott was receptive to our problem and got us approved for a 2011 vehicle with low mileage. We did have to pay a higher interest rate but that was our problem from past history. We now have a good vehicle and an opportunity to rebuild our credit. The transaction took about 3 hrs and we were ready to go. This is my second review of Merchants Auto. The first was about the purcahse of my vehicle. I stopped in on Friday afternoon (with no appointment). I had a flat tire that I got earlier in the day whi was about the purcahse of my vehicle. I stopped in on Friday afternoon (with no appointment). I had a flat tire that I got earlier in the day while I was out in the Keene area. I did not feel comfortable driving on the spare and wanted to see if my tire could be repaired. They took my car right in and were able to repair the tire. They even put the spare back in the correct place (sadly, I have been to other places that do not make this practice). My car was ready quickly and everyone was very pleasant. The best part? The bath my Jeep got before it was returned to me! Thanks, again, Merchants for another wonderful experience!! Amy More

My wife and came upon hard times,having to trade two cars[2011 nissan sentra's]for one.We owed a lot more then they were worth.I gave up working to become my wife's and my dads caregiver.My wife's S.S. cars[2011 nissan sentra's]for one.We owed a lot more then they were worth.I gave up working to become my wife's and my dads caregiver.My wife's S.S. is our only income.Over half of that was to pay car payments.After taling to Scott Rienert at Merchants auto he said he would try to help us out.I had already tried other dealerships,they all said sorry can't help.The day after we talked to Scott Rienert[he called us]he said don't worry I'll take care of you[ya rite].We gave him all our info and by the end of the day Scott put us in a 2012 impala low mileage car,not a base,a fully loaded v6 Impala!! On a Sunday afternoon I walked into Merchants Auto and was greeted by Rich Interrante, he asked if he could be of any assistance and I replied yes. I told him what I was looking for and he brought right to where the SUV was. He told me everything that the car had to offer and asked if I was interested in taking it for a ride. I did. Rich sat down with me and we talked about the price, warranties and financing. He did a credit check and then we were on our way. I signed papers and was on my way to buying a new car. Rich called me the next day and told me that he had found a bank for me with better interest than I had hoped for. We talked about how I needed a few days to get everything together, sales tax, insurance and the registry as I had not planned on buying a car that day. What changed my mind about buying that day was the sincerity of Rich and how great his customer service skills were. I work in retail and customer service is the first thing I expect out of my employees. This is an asset that Rich envelops. It was his genuine ability to put me first and make me feel like I was his only customer. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another vehicle from Rich Interrante and Merchants Auto. They are great place and I will recommend them and Rich to anyone that I know is in the market for a new vehicle. By the way it was the commercials on the radio that brought me to Merchants in the first place. They are the best commercials. More
We were immediately impressed with Scott, our salesman. He let us test drive the SUV we wanted right away. I did not like how it drove. I need space for large boxes that I transport, I need comfort and I wanted nice room in the back for the kids AND it had to be within our price range. He immediately thought of the Toyota FJ. I would have never even considered the Toyota FJ. It wasn't what you would call "my style" of vehicle, but I agreed to test drive it after looking over the interior and the features. Well, needless to say, I loved it. It drives smoothly, it has all the features I wanted and it has the cargo room I need. I knew after about a mile of test driving that I loved it. We ended up buying it. Now, here is the great part - we only spent 3 hours at the dealership - start to finish. I have never done that before, usually it is an all day affair. I was impressed, very impressed. Scott didn't try to sell me a vehicle out of my price range, he knew what we wanted to pay per month and he kept it there. More
